This chair has surpassed all my expectations. Don’t panic when you only receive only 1/2 a chair on your Fedex tracking shipping date, you will receive another box the next day. It was packaged well and mine arrived exactly 7 days earlier than the promised date. The chair itself is just amazing. The hardest part to get use to is relaxing. Once your use to all the pressures and movements of the chair and fully relax and let the chair do its job, you will get lost in the moment. The rollers, along with the airbags on the feet are a high point after a long day of standing. Airbags on the calf area and arms get tight but feel amazing. To adjust to your height, as the chair is reclining, press down with your legs and unit will move with you to immerse yourself in total relaxation. Correct posture helps (don’t slouch) or you won’t feel the full effects of the chair because the waist bags won’t be correctly aligned with your body and the shoulder bags wont push you back into the chair. I am extremely claustrophobic which it took me awhile to relax in the chair. The airbags are very restraining on your legs, arms, waist and shoulders to the point you can’t move. I did panic the first time I used the chair but now, the pressure it puts in those areas are my favorite part of the chair. I couldn’t be more happy with this chair. I’ve been putting off buying one because, lets face it, they are expensive but when I saw this i pulled the trigger and WOW. The chair makes less noise than I expected with all the moving parts. I’ve had many seat type massage units that sit on top of a chair where the rollers were noisy, but this is relatively quiet. You hear air from the compressor and a bit of roller noise but not bothersome at all. If I could find any negatives in this chair, both of them would involve the remote. I wish it was easier to turn off and on individual components. For example it would be nice to just push a button and only the legs would be on. Instead you need to press a bunch of buttons to get into one of the four automatic modes and then adjust the components you want on or off while while in that mood. My other negative is what brought on my mini panic attack. With the remote in my lap and my arms in the arm holders there was no way to get to the remote when the chair was massaging my arms. The pressure is such that your arms are trapped and you have to wait until the air decompresses. I highly recommend this chair. For the price, quality and components you simply can’t beat it.

    UPDATE 5/2/2018
I’m upping my star rating to 5 given the support I have received from the company. I have had the chair 7 months now and for the most part it’s been working great. I have severe back issues and this thing has been a life saver. That said I noticed two of the functions were not working. The lower back heat and the seat vibration did nothing when the options were turned on. I contacted the seller through the order page and received a quick response. Given the size and weight of this item I agreed to help troubleshoot and after some testing we determined there was no problem with the motherboard but the seat cushion and the back cushion needed replacing. They shipped me a new replacement seat bottom to fix the vibration and it worked. I should get the replacement seat back soon to fix the back heater. The company is standing behind the product and following thru with the warranty. I am happy and I use this chair every day. I hope it lasts a really long time

    Original Review

I bought this as a replacement for an iJoy-2580 Massage Chair I’ve had since 2014 that finally died. I have severe back issues and I was about to buy the iJoy again when I found this one. They are very different chairs but I think I like the Real Relax more. I love that it has the heat in the hip area and the vibration. I wish the back rollers moved up and down but the way they have them placed it feels like it is. There are only two types of massage motions for the back rollers which is a negative compared to the iJoy. The i-Joy has 4 types. This chair has the leg massage and the compression for the arms and legs and I think that tips the scale to the Real Relax for quality of massage.

If I could ask for any improvements it would be to extend the legs out farther when in 0 gravity mode and add the 2 missing back massage types. It feels like it does a kneading and compression but not rolling and percussion.

We have owned this exact chair for just over 4 months.
    PROS
It went together quickly and easily (<30 minutes, minimal tools or tool experience needed).
Our chair is used regularly 2 – 3 times a day for 30 minutes at a time so it has stood up well to regular and repeated use.
The massage functions are fine. Slightly better than what most people get in a ‘Mall’ massage chair. The Airbags comfortably compress the forearms and calves while the foot massager is on par with most footstool type foot massagers. The seat massage is more a heated vibration than a true ‘massage’ but that is acceptable for our purposes.
    CONS
As has been stated previously, this is not ideal for anyone over 5’10 or so. If someone scrunches down to get the tops of their shoulders rubbed, it messes the lumbar massage and can adversely impact others areas.
The chair tends to ‘burp’ or ‘chirp’ for a while after being used. I haven’t bothered to determine where the noise is coming from but this chair is in our Master Bedroom and the noise got annoying so we’ve gotten in the habit of going behind the chair and turning it off before bed.
And I can’t quite call it a ‘con’ but the reclined position doesn’t go as far back as I would hope.
For the price, would strongly recommend as a daily use chair for relaxing after a hard day at work or after working out.

While the reviews for this massage chair are positive, I kept my expectations in check because of the low price point. I received it a few days ago and what a wonderful surprise.

First thing to know, the thing is big. And heavy. The UPS driver dropped it off on our driveway, and I was planning to attempt to bribe them to bring it until the basement but I was on the phone and my wife just signed the paper. After seeing the size and weight I don’t think they would have done it anyway! Look at my pictures, they deliver the thing on and actual Pallet!!! I was very lucky that a friend of the family was at the house and wanted the take the pallet to do a craft project, otherwise I don’t know what I would have done with it.

Aside from the weight (I recommend using those sliders to move the thing around, the chair was super easy to put together. A couple screws (they even provide a screwdriver) and I was up and running in about 15 minutes.

The massager does a great job, and the remote is also nice. You can even configure the remote options if you go into the settings. For example, in mild mode leave the leg airbags off. Tons of options. And it’s nice how far the chair reclines back. The heat and vibration are also good. It doesn’t to the best job on high up on the neck, and for me the airbags on the leg and chairs are really REALLY strong, but overall I think it’s great!

The only big downside for me is that it’s not comfortable as a regular chair. I work remotely and planned to replace a lazy boy chair I keep in my home office which I use in between meetings and while taking a break to watch some TV. As a massaging chair its fantastic, but if you just want to sit in the chair it’s not very comfortable because of the massaging nozzles of whatever you call the parts which go back and forth. So I moved the massage chair to another room and brought my lazy boy back. Not a big deal which is why I still give it 5 stars, but I wish it could be a comfortable regular chair. I also wish they offered premium delivery (for a fee). Definitely recommend!

Great for some. Somewhat easy assembly… The arms were the most difficult part. Once you watch the YouTube video or the video off the site you realize it isn’t as easy as the video makes it seem… Takes more force. The chair massage balls are not adjustable as far as height for a person.. So this chair is only good for a set range of heights for leg lengths and your back… My wife and I are 5′ 4″ and 5′ 8″ my wife wishes the torso could adjust lower so her neck could hit better.. And for the legs… The legs just don’t fit well… But overall 4 star for being decent overall… You can turn off specific areas to not use air compressor like arms.. If you feel the arm compression is too painful or you are too claustrophobic. Nice features are the reclining options and different modes as well as being able to turn off certain areas. It has heat and butt vibration. Cons… You can’t adjust for heights and some spots are painful… Like hitting my right foot on the ball, and the arm compression is a tad tight… Even for me with skinny arms

I got this chair for several reasons but mostly I needed something for my back, legs, and feet. I was surprised how much I am enjoying the arm and hand features on this chair. Apparently my shoulders are not wide enough for the top air bag so I don’t really get anything in the shoulder area. For me I have to be in full recline to feel the neck and head massage otherwise I tend to move my head and not really feel it. But the legs and feet….heaven!!! I also like the attention to the lower back and seat area — my old masseuse (she retired) didn’t do the butt area and until now I didn’t know what I was missing. I haven’t been able to figure out how to save specific things I like to change on the existing programmed options. I don’t know if that is possible or not. The instructions on how to use the remote are less than stellar. However the instructions on how the put the chair together were great! My son was able to do it pretty fast. Any questions or problems I had, I emailed the company and they were very quick to respond. I am extremely happy with this purchase and expect to be for the next few years! (NOTE: I am a verified purchaser and I was _not_ compensated for this review)

Love this chair, especially for the price but wish you could set the timer for a longer period Bought this after my heart surgery, which really messed my back up. Apparently they had my arms crossed over my head and tied together for 3 or more hours (during the entire surgery). I could not sleep lying down and don’t have an adjustable bed. After a few weeks I hurt in different areas from sleeping on the couch. i had complications and on many nights the only way I was able to sleep at all was in this chair in the zero gravity position. I had to take cat naps of about 10 minutes at a time because the setting was for a short duration. I would definately recommend this product, especially if you are going to have surgery that will lay you up for any period of time.

I have a Human Touch chair from Sharper Image that has lasted over fifteen years BUT the foot and leg section never was fantastic and has finally broken and there are no replacement parts available. It’s still an amazing chair with style and high quality leather however I really needed the lower leg sections. I tried standalone Medtronic foot vibrators and calf massagers but I was starting to feel like an experiment with all the tubes and wires coming off me. This new chair is definitely taking care of my legs. The pressure cuffs and rollers are delightful and give a strong massage. I’m wondering how long the cover material will last since it’s rather thin vinyl (?) or imitation leather or Naugahyde or whatever but I’m using a sheet to cover the whole thing and keeping my fingers crossed. After fifteen years with the Human Touch thick leather and using it daily it has only now just started to get a small wear spot. I think this will wear a little faster but the price was right.

Delivery was perfectly notified from UPS but make sure you have a good dolly and elevator etc. You may need another person and some patience to put it together. I did have a small abrasion on the upper chair back that seemed to be from the packing shifting but it was obvious that they really tried to ship it well so I can live with a small scrape. There was no external damage to the box.

I think the idea of using the airbags is interesting and I’ll get more use out of many sections of this device that will last longer because it’s just an airbag and not a section of rollers that can crack or get out of whack.

My only negatives are that you can’t save your settings on the remote and have to reprogram any individual choices. The foot section doesn’t lift independently. When you go back into the zero it’s good and up in the air but many times I would like the footrest up when I’m just sitting in it and not actively getting worked. I also do many chores when I’m in the chair similar to knitting and with the arm cuffs you have limited range of motion for your elbows etc. I like the device but when I know I’m going to sit for a while and clean garlic or crochet or do paperwork I move over to the other chair. I thought I would be able to replace the other chair but I’m making room and keeping both.

Overall: this is a great chair for the money. As always, do your homework. The vibrator is nice too but I had to put it on a different circuit from the television because it interferes with the reception.

I loved how easy it was to set up. I rate this chair a 7 of out 10. It’s designed for small people if you’re 6 foot or taller don’t buy this chair. the foot massager extends but not nearly enough. If you’re on the heavy side or a tad wider than the average…..you will be very uncomfortable laying in this chair. This chair should not advertise that it’s a zero gravity chair…..other than the air bags that squeeze your arms and legs….there’s nothing zero about it. I’ve trued 2 to 5k chairs and it doesnt even compare…..it’s not bad but it’s just not great…I didn’t feel fulfilled, and everyone said that it kinda hurt their body. That’s the only reason I gave it a 4 star….the massagers are string and if you do have a bad back it will listen you up..

A good massage chair is a complicated beast, and you shouldn’t expect to get the features and performance of a $3000 chair for $850. I knew this when I bought it, and with expectations managed appropriately, I’m satisfied with the purchase. Keep that in mind as you read my review. I bought it for my wife’s birthday and we’ve had the chair for about four months now.

It’s enormous, and very heavy. Getting it into the house and in place was a chore. Assembly, however, went quickly and easily, no instructions necessary. Pay attention to how you route the air hoses. It’s easy to position them so that they get pinched.

First impressions: Ouch! The lower-back massage is aggressive even on its lowest setting, and I felt bruised after the first session. I fixed this by adding a 3/4″ minicel foam pad to the lower backrest. There is a sleeve in the backrest into which you can slide a pad, almost as if they anticipated this. The 3/4″ minicel was just about perfect to moderate the force of the back massagers.

The Real Relax chair fits a narrow range of human height. At 6’1″, I am too tall for the neck massagers to work. In fact, for someone my height there’s no neck support at all. I put a small-throw pillow behind my neck and that works well, but you aren’t getting much of a neck massage.

At 5’2″, my wife is too short for the chair. Whereas I’m too tall, she has to sit on a pillow to get her neck into position for a neck massage. And her feet don’t reach the foot massagers, so she’s never experienced that feature.

The leg support is too short for me. It’s spring loaded, so that if I push down with my feet, the leg support slides to a comfortable position. It won’t STAY there, however, as it’s supposed to. The leg support will gradually slide back up, so I feel like I’m sitting with my knees in my chest. I have a choice of getting comfortable that way, or exerting constant pressure with my feet to keep the support in the right spot. I choose the former. Not ideal, but I can live with it. If I were the only person using the chair, I’d fasten the leg support permanently at my height.

Like the lower back massage, the foot massage is overly aggressive. After my first session I felt like a victim of “bastinado.” Moccasins or slippers with soft leather soles mitigate this, and since that’s what I’m usually wearing indoors. that works out okay.

The air-powered pressure cuffs for forearms and calves work great, without reservation, as do the heat and vibration features.

At this point I enjoy the Real Relax chair, but it took some tweaking, and setting of expectations. My wife, for whom I bought it, rarely uses it because it just doesn’t fit her at 5’2″.

I spent a while looking for a good massage chair for my wife and found this one. The reviews were generally really good and the price was definitely better than any of the other chairs I was looking at. I decided to go with it and so far I’m very happy with it. I was worried about the setup since a few reviewers had said the instructions weren’t clear, but I didn’t have any issues at all. The instructions had pictures with good descriptions for each step and overall it took about 15 minutes to get the chair unboxed and set up. The only part that wasn’t completely clear was that there are two plugs that you can plug the set into (one red, one yellow) but the plug was black. It wasn’t a big problem because the back of the chair has the red plug on it that matches the other red one.

When it came to using the chair it seems to do a good job. While it doesn’t have the specific targeting that the much more expensive chairs do, the auto mode does a great job on relaxation and strong modes. The heater and vibration also work great. My only usage complaint is that it immediately starts going and locks your arms in, which makes it really hard to set the tilt or change the other settings. My wife said that the chair did a great job but that she had to remove the headrest because it made the upper back massage too soft.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this chair as a good basic massage chair. It doesn’t have all of the advanced “smart” features of some of the (much) more expensive chairs, but it accomplishes everything that I was looking for in a massage chair.

This is our first massage chair. We tested several massage chairs at Costco, Sams, and any other opportunity we had. All seemed fine, but way more money than I wanted to spend, especially because I wasn’t sure it would be that thing that use it first week, then forget about it.
Well, it’s been more than 3 weeks and the entire family is still enjoying it very much.
Some improvements I would like to suggest to the manufacturer:
    1) Change the programing, so it doesn’t go back to initial state automatically after it’s finished. The reason is that I sometimes fall asleep on it while it’s doing the massage, and the return from the incline to upright position wakes me up. 🙂
    2) I only found out by accident that the length of the feet is spring loaded and adjustable. At first, I thought the chair was just for really short people. Until I found out the feet adjust. Maybe document that better, and use lighter springs.
    3) I would love a version with rollers on shoulders and legs, instead of the air bags. But I understand that it would be a totally different design. Just keep that in your design idea bucket.

Overall great chair, and a great bang for the buck.

After seeing a demonstration at the state fair on massage chairs I decided that I wanted one. The chair at the state fair was 4 times the price of this chair. This chair is somewhat comparable with a few differences. It arrived quick and like others have said one of the boxes was heavy. We were able to use our 2 wheel dolly to get it in the house. Directions were very hard to follow but after finding a video on youtube we were able to put it together in no time. I like to use this after a long day of teaching and being on my feet. I have it set on mild because it can be pretty strong if you are not use to it. I don’t think the calf massager is as tall as the chair I used at the state fair and is more of air pillows compressing on your legs, but still works. It is not quite the same as the more expensive chair at the state fair but it is a good massage chair. I think it is better than what I have used at the mall. It is a great way to relax at the end of the day.

I wanted to wait about a month before reviewing this chair. After an injury, I was diagnosed with RSD, (a form of chronic pain syndrome). Compression really helps control the pain and swelling. I really wanted a massage chair with all the bells and whistles, but they were way out of my price range. I opted to bite the bullet and try this chair and oh what a surprise! Sure it doesn’t have all the programmable settings as the $2500 chairs, but this chair gives you some control over what it can do. Unfortunately, there is no instruction booklet to show all the remote controls, but I just played around with them for a while to see what they could do. I put this chair together in about 45 minutes, by myself. Super simple, slipping parts in place and 4 screws. I use it at least 2x per day and have had no mechanical issues at all. Super quiet when running. It doesn’t interrupt my television volume at all. The lower back massage rollers are kind of strong on my back when the chair is fully reclined, but I fixed that by slipping a 1″ cushion between the back mat and rollers. However you can just turn them off at the lower back level if it’s too much. I am 5’8″ and fit perfectly in this chair. My son who is 6’3″ is a little tall for this chair as the foot portion didn’t push far enough down for him, but he still enjoys the benefits from it. 6’1″ would probably be the tallest for a perfect fit. So for my money, it was really worth the bill!

My wife is a massage therapist and she says I don’t have the “stamina” to give her a good massage. I really can’t do it for more than 10 minutes on a good day, so I got this thing for her. The instructions aren’t really clear on assembly, but it’s not that hard. The user guide is practically non-existent, so here are some tips: As it’s going back to zero grav mode, push down with your feet to extend. The more you use it, the easier this gets. It’s not obvious at first and you think it’s too small if you’re tall like me. One thing that can’t be fixed is that it’s not really tall enough at the neck for taller people like me. I’m 6’2″ and I don’t get any neck work from this unit at all. Fortunately, we have a vibrating neck pillow. My wife is tall too, but she gets some neck benefit. The best part is the arms and calves. They get a great workout. So it’s not the $7k chair, but you get much of the benefit for a fraction of the price. The box is ridiculous. Good luck getting the trash guys to take it. We wound up using a box cutter to chop ours down and roll up into cardboard logs. It gets a lot of use at our house.

  16. dennis hopton (verified owner)

At 6’2″, I am too long for this chair. If I want to position my lower back for a massage, my neck is above the chair and must be supported with a pillow. If I want my neck massaged, I must move my butt to the front of the chair. That being said NOONE is taking this chair away from me!!!! It provides an excellent back massage and does a masterful job of working the shoulder blades and along the spine. A delightful addition is the foot massage that gets the bottom of the feet. I have gout and I can position my foot so that the rollers contact the exact spot that hurts. The heat and vibration are also excellent. I’ve adjusted to the fact that because I’m too long or the chair is too short I can’t get a lower back and neck massage at the same time..Bottom line is this chair is keeper and I use it daily and it provides much relief to my aching body.

Some of the other reviews were a little bit daunting, but with a little bit of common sense, it’s not difficult to put together. This has been a product I have looked at for about three years and finally decided to pull the trigger on it. I wish I would have bought it sooner because I use it almost every day. My kids do too! The pressure can be intense the first squeeze on the calf muscles, But that’s usually because the muscles are super tight. By the second squeeze, it is totally fine. The back rollers can be a little too much on the kids, so they just put a small pillow behind them, and it works out just fine. I love the reclining feature so I can sit in it to watch tv and the heat and vibration feature to relax the muscles. I purchased mine from Elenker, and they have been phenomenal with their customer service: response time, attentive and thorough! I didn’t pull the trigger on this because I was so wary of so many different things, and my assessment to anyone else is just do it! You will be will be so happy you did!

  18. Raunac K. (verified owner)

I purchased this for my father who works a hard labor job. He loves it and my mom and I sneak in our share of it too. I personally like a little hard of a massage so the back rollers don’t bother me too much but I could see people saying it’s a little too much pressure, you can always put a small pillow behind you to add some padding. My dad loves it and falls asleep on it.
My personal only complaint is that it’s a little difficult to get the full use as a short person. The shoulder bags are useless because my shoulders don’t reach. I also don’t personally feel the hip bags (even tho I have large hips). Also it may be because I have thinner arms, but I don’t think the pressure on the arms and legs is enough and unfortunately you can’t adjust the pressure on that.
There are multiple settings you can mess with including turning on and off the vibration and heat. You can mix the intensity of some of the rollers. I love the neck, back, and feet rollers and find that being short does not prevent me to getting my feet properly “rolled”. Putting it together was relatively easy as well.
Overall, I did my research and for the price and the use, it’s a steal of a deal.

I was hesitant buying this online as I assume you are.
    A. It is a sizeable chunk of money.
    B. It would be a major ordeal to try to return this or any massage chair you buy from an on-line retailer.

I cannot speak to the longevity or reliability of this item. And I would promise to update this in a year……but I won’t.

But I gave it four stars just to try and be as 100% honest as possible. For me to give it 5 stars at this price it would have to last me at least 2+ full years of regular use and I have not done that yet. My wife would give it a 100% and I would highly recommend to a friend, but admittedly your mileage will vary.

This is the first massage chair that I have ever owned. I have had both upper and lower back pain for several years due to a motorcycle accident in my early 20’s. I read the reviews on this chair and on others before deciding on the Real Relax. I like The features on this chair and ease of setup. It only took about 20 minutes for assembly. The chair does come in 2 separate boxes. It took 4 days between receiving the first box and getting the second so be patient. The leg compression air bags are very strong, which for some may seem to be too powerful. I think it is just right. The deep tissue massage is also very strong but can be reduced by using a cushion in between your back and the chair. Since getting the chair about 2 weeks ago, my back pain has dropped dramatically and the need for pain meds has dropped as well. I use the chair every day. My wife also enjoys the deep tissue massage offered by this chair. The only regret I have is not getting the chair sooner! I am very pleased with this chair and would highly recommend it to anyone with back problems.

Seller sent me a replacement and I am very happy with this purchase! It was easy to assemble. The setup of the Favor 3 took about 45 minutes after ensuring that the arms were attached to the main body of the massage chair. You Tube has a good video for unboxing and setting up the massage chair. This massage chair is very comfortable. I love the way it massages my back, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs. It also has heat for the waist and buttocks. It gives great pain relief. The chair has zero gravity mode among other auto and manual modes. I even set up the bluetooth and the sound quality is just awesome! Don’t look for bluetooth button on the remote control! Just turn on your bluetooth to your phone and let your phone scan for the chair’s bluetooth in order to pair it. I am very pleased with this purchase! I did not receive anything to give this review! You won’t go wrong in with this purchase. Thank You.

The product ships in 2 separate boxes. It arrived on time and in excellent shape. All parts and tools to assemble the chair was included. (4 hex screws, two roller wheels, two extra air hose valves and hex tool) The assembly was easy and simple.
Once together I couldn’t wait to try it out. I downloaded the app and connected my phone to the chair’s Bluetooth and started using it.
It took a few minutes to get used to the airbags squeezing my calfs but it feels great. The remote is easy to use and not to complicated to figure out. Give yourself enough time in the chair you’ll have it down in no time.
I purchased this mainly for my husband, he has Glioblastoma Multiforme (brain cancer) and now has very limited mobility that comes with excruciating body pain. Once I placed him in this chair and turned it on he smiled for the first time in a long time. He said he loves it and it helps him tremendously with the pain. He will also place the chair in zero gravity turn off the message and just sleep in it.
I am extremely satisfied with this chair and I would recommend it to anyone looking to relax at home for a bargain.

Received the chair two days ago and so far I’m loving it. The chair came in two deliveries, one week apart. What a tease! I received bottom unit first, then the side panels came the following week. I don’t think this is the norm as I’ve seen pictures from other purchasers that show both boxes. Anyway, Set is pretty simple. Assembly directions could be written better but you can work your way through it. Same thing with operation of chair. Directions are not clear but I just experimented until I got a basic feel for it. Lower back rollers are a little rough but reducing speed will take care of that. Otherwise it’s an enjoyable treat for your body.

Overall this is a good chair. Some of the things I have liked about it…it has good airbag compression on the calves, the music option is awesome, the rollers for the lumbar spine are nice and strong. The rollers get a little too strong after longer massage time, but a thin pillow added softens the roller just right. Improvements that would be nice; it would be nice if the rollers would do more then just rolling in circles. If they also did percussion and if their positions could be changed it would be better. As it is, they are stationary and only roll in circles. The thoracic rollers are too low so the upper thoracic spine doesn’t get massaged. The cervical rollers are in a good position for someone who is tall but not in a comfortable location for someone shorter; for someone shorter they hit the occiput area (back of the head)which is not comfortable. Also the angle of the chair back at the level of the cervical spine is wrong so the neck is hyperextended in order for the cervical rollers to massage. The airbags are great for larger built people, but a smaller framed body doesn’t get the full benefit.

I received this massage chair for a Mother’s Day gift this year and overall I really like it. I received it way earlier than predicted and it was not too difficult to assemble, it came it two huge boxes one heavier than the other. Thank God I was home because, the UPS guy took it to my neighbor’s door and was walking off when I told him wrong apartment. Anyway, had just a small problem when it was finally together..it wouldn’t turn on so, I called the customer service # in the back of the instruction book, no one answered right away but, we did receive a phone call back within some minutes. The guy said to check the hoses and if it still doesn’t turn on, take the box off the back and make sure everything is connected because, through the travel sometimes something may come loose…well that’s exactly what it was the blue connector in the back of the box was not connected after that…Boom it turned on and happiness every since. : )

It looks very nice and is well quality made and sturdy. It gives a good relaxing massage…the head, leg and foot massages are my favorites. Only thing is I wish the foot massage massaged the toes but, it doesn’t seem to reach that far up. Also, it doesn’t seem to massage the neck but, that’s okay because, that’s hardly an issue for me anyway however, I wish it had a little better neck support…I’ll take care of that with a neck support pillow also after reading a ton of reviews I seen where some were saying that the back massage can be a little rough especially during first few times of use. They were right because, the next day my lower back and tailbone was sore but, on the reviews it was recommended that you use a folded towel or some type of padding. Tried it and it worked out perfectly, now I can enjoy my massage experience without the slight pain of the rollers.

I love the heat function as well and the blue-tooth music quality of the chair is awesome and top notch. The music comes from within the chair and it’s good quality and clarity…really loving this feature as I put mine on nature sounds and lay back in full zero gravity and relax. Family members came over yesterday for Memorial Day and they all tried out the massage chair and everyone of them loved it. They thought I was fortunate to get such a nice gift as this massage chair. After adding a folded towel for my back to the chair, a neck support pillow and just getting to know my chair overall I love it. Very nice massage chair for the money and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this massage chair. : )

Let me start with this: I am very satisfied with this product! I work long hours so having a massage chair has always been on my list. I decided to buy a chair recently but did not want to spend too much money on it. I accidentally came across this product with a decent price. Of course, with a price like this, who wouldnt have doubt? I spent lots of times went through lots of reviews and finally I decided to click the purchase button. 2 weeks past and my patience came fruitful. The item arrived on time even though UPS showed “delay arrival time”. The item came in 2 boxes: 1 box is for the armrests, 1 box is for the rest. The box is quite heavy around 130kg and requires 2-3 people to haul it in the house. All you have to do is mount both the armrests on the chair trunk and screw them together then connect a few cable and power and the chair is good to go. I immediately tried the zero gravity option in which the machine lied you all the ways downward. You can choose to have the machine massage various parts of your body or the whole body as a whole. Now, I cant wait to come home after long working hour to sit in my newly purchased chair.

This chair is the closest thing to a personal masseuse that I’ve experienced. The zero gravity function enables you to recline completely and thoroughly enjoy the full body massage. The air bags are strategically located to apply pressure where it is most needed too. I really appreciate the foot rollers as they assist in significantly reducing the aches and pains from a long day on my feet. The heating unit only heats my legs and feet, but is still a plus. The Bluetooth feature is an added bonus that enables me to listen to music or podcasts while getting a massage. Overall I’m very pleased with this massage chair and I look forward to relaxing in it every evening.

I was initially going to return this chair because I felt like I didn’t need it… But I thought, heck, why not just keep it. We’re going to be in Shelter-in-Place for a while so might as well keep it since the massage spots are not going to open in my area any time soon. The compressors in the arms and legs are excellent! I like getting massaged in those areas the best so it was a plus to have that. Back massages are nice and have great selections for patterns etc. Chair is comfortable and the zero gravity reclining is awesome. I’ve got the chair in my living room and I am able to use it and relax while watching TV or listening to music. Have not used the Bluetooth speaker as I have a surround system where the chair is located.

Assembly was easy. I recommend having two people do it as the chair itself is about 120 lbs and getting the sides of the arms together requires two people to hold the arm in place to align the hole and thread and then the other person screws the items in. Width of the chair is about 26 inches for anyone who is concerned about door or hallway widths and getting it through. Highly recommend using a hand truck to get the chair where you need it to be. 2 screws needed to be placed, 6 air compressor tubes needed to be connected, and 4 connections need to be made. Took about 30 minutes to assemble.

I bought this chair for my wife who has back and neck problems and her doctor recommended regular massage to help with the pain. I didn’t have very high expectations because of how cheap this chair is, but I was very pleasantly surprised with MY first massage.

I say ‘MY’ because my experience was a little different than my wife’s. I thought the chair was great. However, she found the lower back rollers to be much too strong and the shoulder/neck massage to be too weak or misplaced. We ended up putting a blanket in front of the low rollers to help back it off a bit, but the high rollers seemed to miss her neck/shoulders all together. She’s 5’4″ so we figured she should have been good, but never could get them to hit right.

Overall it just wasn’t what she needed, which brings me to my next point: If you happen to want to return this chair, that’s basically not an option because of the high shipping cost. Luckily we found some folks here locally that were in the market and made almost all our money back, but definitely something to keep in mind.

We then decided to make the plunge into an “L-Track” type chair with 3D capabilities (you may want to do some research into the different types of chairs) because intensity can be adjusted between my wife and I (easier on her problem areas, harder on my whole back). This chair was $4500. The reason I say this is my third and final point: Our new chair cost almost 5 times what this one costs, and is MAYBE twice as good.

Bottom line, it didn’t work out for us, but I think the vast majority of people out there will love this chair and it is great for what you’ll pay. Considering you can buy a decent car for what many of these cost, the massage you get from this chair won’t disappoint.

PS, despite their customer service being on the other side of the world and in an opposite time zone (I’m in the US) they were quick to respond and great to deal with.

I purchased this chair as a birthday gift for my wife about 3 months ago. I wanted to make sure I gave her ample time to be confident in her review and opinion rather than writing a review after sitting in it the first time. Putting it together was pretty easy, took about 20 mins from getting it out of the box to set-up and ready to go. Taking out of the box was probably the hardest part. There are many options on the remote but honestly we just use the default setting and zero G position, then adjust the time based on how long we intend to sit in it. I did not think I would use it often at all, but boy was I wrong. I find myself using it a couple times per week, generally mid day when I step away from my work and I have fallen asleep in it a few times now. I like that the chair goes back to the sitting position after the timer completes, otherwise I may not wake up when the massage is over. I like the airbag massages on my forearms and legs the most. I wish it had some form of massage for the hamstrings, but I cannot complain with what we got for our money. This is a great massage chair!

(Review by buyer’s wife–the user of the chair)
After receiving the box pretty damaged, I was relieved and happy to find the chair intact and unharmed. While the damage is not the company’s fault, I would recommend stouter packaging for future chairs. I’ve had other items packaged with more robust materials and highly recommend it for a 100 pound nice quality item. FedEx is sometimes brutal!
Set up wasn’t hard and the design very good for a quick assembly. Build instructions were decent, however, on the operation instructions it would be helpful to include additional explanations– like how to extend the default 15 minutes massage (I accidentally discovered that the “on” button at the bottom will extend the time- YES, that’s what I wanted!!), that you should push your feet to extend the foot rest (also an accidental discovery), and other details on how to work the chair.
I’ve spent an hour in it so far and love it. Yes, as some reviewers stated, the hard ball massage on the lower back can be a bit harsh at certain levels, but I adjust the zero G to a little more upright position and it helps. I do agree with others that the shoulder air press function is a bit on the moderately low side– could be it’s that I’m not tall and can’t reach to the height on the chair that would make it a harder pressure. But the arms, hips, and legs pressure is great. And the upper back massage is mid-level pressure (tip- use the zero G and lay all the way back to get more pressure). The head rest, in a future design, could do with a little more forward adjustment (or find a way to be adjustable). And I agree, a top of the shoulder massage function would be great–just now sure how that would work on a actual chair…. other chairs I’ve tried don’t have it and neither do hydro massagers I’ve used so I think that is a bit much to ask for. I have a back buddy for that, though. So no worries there. I feel that overall, a lot of these issues are just a part of a machine being built for the average customer and it’s hard with varying heights, body dimensions, weights, etc., to make one that would fill every person’s individual nuance and still keep it at this highly affordable price. I’m 5’5 and medium sized and this chair fits me very well.
All-in-all, I give this a 4.4 star and would recommend it to someone else. If anything fails unexpectedly or I discover a flaw, I will revise this review. But if you are looking for an at-home massage chair, this price and quality are very good. I love the convenience of not having to drive somewhere and at spend $150 a pop for a 90 minute massage, it will pay for itself in less than 7 90-minute uses since this will now replace my massage visits to the spa.

First note, I waited about a month and a half to review so if there were any QC issues they should have come up.

After looking at all the others, this one was in the price point we could afford and had good ratings. It arrived in two boxes a few days apart but it beat the delivery date by a couple of weeks. Once we got the second box with the main unit it was pretty easy to set up. Just open the main part until it locked in the open position, hang the sides on and one Allen bolt each. Hook up one power and three air hoses on each side that are located on the lower back and you are set.

The lower back was a bit too intense for us and it was bought to hopefully help with my lower back and neck issues but a folded towel at first and then just a normal seat cushion that raised you about 2in works great and solved that so not problems there. It is a lot easier to reduce than make the rollers more intense. The other air bags are all a good intensity as well as the upper back. The heat is also nice when you have over done it and your muscles are sore. We don’t use the Bluetooth much but when we have it sounds good and honestly can work as a speaker for the whole room.

The only negatives I can think of besides everyone wanting to use it is we have a creaking on the left side when the shoulder air bags inflate and we wish the controller had about another foot of wire length. One last bit, if you are over 6ft it gets a bit short. The springs already lift my feet on the extensions because I am only 190lbs and 6ft but the back also is about the tallest I can be with it.

But, they support their product from all the other reviews I saw and I haven’t really needed any. Otherwise it is a good value and price. Cheaper it seems you get quality issues and more expensive ones don’t seem to get any better ratings, service or anything.

The Real Relax Massage Chair Favor 03 Recliner has a great armrest system design. The Zero Gravity Massage surround space gave me a professional massage experience. Full Body Shiatsu Massage was great experience as the 8 massage rollers inside the backrest and foot rollers function felt like a masseuse pressing on me. The 50 air bags placed all over the shoulder, arms, seat, and legs gave my body full compression to my body.
The assembly instructions had inaccurate English and errors that were misleading, but Assembly was easy. The user manual needs to be re-written. There was no installation video as described.
The section on the Music System is confusing as it calls to press the Bluetooth button on remote-controller, but there is no such button on the controller. Did they mean the on-off power button? Still researching. A video should at least be provided on YouTube for this model chair. Happy with the chair. Thanks for the product.

I am excited about my new massage chair. It was actually delivered earlier than stated. The box was beat up so I was scared that it might be damaged, but to my surprise, everything was in tack. I always feel tense and stressed in my muscles so that is why i wanted the chair. My body is also very tender, so I can’t have too much hard pressure against my legs and arms without it hurting or causing brusing. This chair is perfect because it has airbags that press up against my thighs and calves and shoulders and it is not too much hard pressure. That is what I love most about the chair. The rollers on the back and buttock area are also great. I wish that I could feel the massage rollers more in the neck area. I can bearly feel anything there and that is another problem area for me. When I turn on the heat, I only feel it on my calves but it is also supposed to be on the back and I can’t feel any heat there, and I am not sure why yet. I also would have liked for the chair to have more options for different types of massages such as kneading etc, but for the price of this chair, I can understand that it only has the features it has. The price is great though for what you get. These are the few reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars, but this is a great asset and I would definitely recommend it to others. It relieves the tenseness and stress of my muscles other than my neck area, so it serves most of the purpose that I purchased it for.

I read quite a few reviews prior to buying this. Some people complained about It’s effectiveness or that it seemed cheap. So far, neither of those concerns have been the case here.

1st of all, I saw a chair that was nearly identical to this one at a local furniture store. I tried it out. It was nice, but the nearly two thousand dollar price tag scared me away.

When I saw this one, I though it couldn’t possibly be as good. I was right. It’s not as good. It’s actually better and had more options. This one had bluetooth. The other one did not.

It comes in two boxes. One box is the main body. The other box is the two sides. Unless you pay for special shipping, it’s only delivered to your door. They will not take it inside. That’s not a big problem. I was able to carry the sides in and slide the main body in. I do not have to deal with stairs though. If you have stairs, you’ll need help.

Putting it together is pretty easy. They give you the tool you need to bolt the sides on. It’s pretty straight forward. The only catch is going to be if you have limited mobility. You need to be able to get down on the ground and be able to reach under, to connect the hoses.

The biggest areas where this thing does it’s job is your lower back and feet. WOW. It really works those areas. The other areas it does a good job with. The only area you’ll find lacking is your neck. That’s understandable though. Unless they customized it to your exact body, the neck is really hard to line up.

One thing I haven’t seen many people mention is the sound quality. I really expected nothing here. Most times things like that are an after thought. I’m not an audiophile by any means, but the speakers sound pretty good and can get fairly loud if you want them to.

This is a comfortable chair, but it’s on the firm side. If you are expecting a cushy chair, you’ll sink into, this is not that chair. I find it very comfortable.

You do need to pull this away from the wall a few feet. You can get away with less if you do not want to use the zero g function.

The materials are almost on par with the $2000 one I looked at. The leather on that was a little nicer, but certainly not worth double the price. I don’t mind the materials on this one at all. It’s better quality than my last massage chair.

Time will tell how this holds up over the long run. Right now it seems like it will last a while. If that changes, I’ll make sure to update the review.

Value wise, good luck finding a better value. This is one of the best ones I’ve tried and it’s delivered to your door at half the cost of the ones in the store. If you are looking for a massage chair, this is the one.

After a lot of research and reading of reviews, we went with the Real Relax chair, and are extremely happy with the choice. The chair came in two large and heavy boxes from UPS, and when we started to assemble it, we could see the quality of the chair in the materials. It’s very solid in its construction, and it has responded perfectly to extended use in the first month.

The motor that reclines the chair is strong, and you can easily put the chair in “zero gravity” mode. The massage mechanisms and air bags are strong, and are very effective. The heating element is very good, and the legs and feet get a snug massage as well. The remote is easy to use, and the bluetooth feature has worked with no issues.

Several people have used the chair, and there have been no complaints. Considering the price of the chair is lower than comparative models, I was surprised how good the quality is. I highly recommend the chair.

  37. Jeffrey Peters (verified owner)

This chair was super easy to assemble and the wheels make the unit very easy to move around. The massage function is straight forward and the hand held controller is intuitive. The chair has a small footprint compared to other zero gravity models. Appearance is world class. Materials are of high quality. Massage quality is exceptional for this price range. Overall an amazing value and product. Very pleased I did not spend several thousand and gave Real Relax Massage a chance. I would from them again.

A couple of things I did not like: delivery time was very slow, requirement to store all packing material in case of a need for future service, controller cord is shorter than Ideal, controller buttons are not backlit, the neck massage function is poorer than other areas, and low back massage area benefits from extra padding.

  38. sriram (verified owner)

Overall this is a good massage chair (a 4.5*).
I have tried some of the cheaper ones which are not very great.
Of course you can expect it to be similar to a human giving a massage.
Assembly/set-up: The product comes in 2 boxes and is pretty easy to set up. Just two screws which are provided.
Comfort as a chair: You can sit on it comfortably. You might want to put a pillow behind (so the rollers dont bother you) and it becomes a very comfortable and relaxing chair. Also looks pretty cool.
    Massage review:
    Pros:
    * There are enough of rollers for the back and they go reasonably wide that it hits the scapula which I love.
    * The heating for the seat is great (However, I dont think there is a way to control how hot you want it).
    * The compression through airbags for the calf is pretty good.
    Cons:
    * Even though the description says it is for people 6ft tall, I would say it is for 5′ 10″. I am 6ft tall and I think it is a couple of inches small for me (I move and adjust myself to get it right).
    * The airbags for arms and shoulders are not nearly as strong as I would want them (May be because I am a bit skinny for the chair.).
    * The remote has a lot of buttons, but hard to understand what the modes are. The display doesnt exactly tell you what it is.

  39. jac (verified owner)

I absolutely love this chair. Here are my pros and one little con:

    CON:
The arm position is kind of funky for my body. I wish I could bring up the height of the arm panels to be a little more comfortable for me.

    PRO:
The chair got here HELLA fast. It shipped in like a day and a half. I was able to drag it into my apartment by myself while having a back injury. The unboxing was super easy and putting it together was a no brainer. I did not need to read the instructions, but double checked before I started the chair that I hit all the right set up points.

What I love: The feet and calves massage is wonderful. It’s pretty strong and it provides so much relief. The back massage is great too. I have issues with bending and getting all the way upright in the morning, and using this for 10 mins gets me mobile quickly.

So far, no big cons. If something happens I will update this.

  40. coad (verified owner)

Pretty good for overall massage and relaxation, especially for the money. Not quite as good as chairs costing 3 to 4 times as much, but what do you expect? I was hoping the back rollers would have more coverage, but they do not have any up and down travel. There are hip, back, and shoulder/neck rollers that are independent and fixed in one area. They are all just a little off for where I would like them. The remote could use a backlight and more intuitive controls. My favorite is the airbags on the calves. Wish foot base extended another inch or 2.

  41. Ann (verified owner)

I really like the back and waist roller. The rollers “hit” the “right” spot compared to the one my friend has from another company. The calf airbags is amazing, and so is the feet roller. Definitely better than another brand I have tried.

However, the chair is a bit big for someone at 4″11 in height. I can still make it work, but it would be great if it fits me better. But for the price, it is good enough. It should be noted that due to my height and size, I was not able to benefit from the shoulder airbag and the buttock airbag since I don’t fit fully in the chair.

For the arm airbag function, it is not as tight as I would like it to be. If it can be tighter, it would be great, but I turned it up to maximum strength already. The calf airbags are great when used alone, but when used in conjunction with other airbags, it would not get as tight.

Overall, for the price, the chair is great. My mom and dad love it. My mom said that she feels a difference on her legs, which has been aching for awhile.

  42. Joe Moore (verified owner)

I’ve had this chair for about a month now and use it everyday. It was easy to assemble and not to heavy to move around. It ships in 2 boxes, the main chair in one and the arms in the other. It was really easy to assemble, just plugged in 2 air hose and the main power connector. The arms are held in by a large screw, you may need an extra person to help hold the arm in the proper position while you screw it in. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I really like the air compression and foot massager. With gyms closing off their massage equipment and for sanitary reason was the main reason I ended up purchasing this chair. The downsides to this chair as most have said the lower back rollers can be a little rough and if your shorter you have issues with the shoulder rollers being a little to high, you can fix these issues by sitting on a pillow or folded blanket.

  43. AzonShopper (verified owner)

This is a very nice massage chair and the seller does a good job of communicating. Our chair came in two separate shipments that were a few days apart. We love it and use it every day. The upper back massage rollers are excellent and we love the zero gravity feature that allows you to fully recline. The foot massage rollers feel great as well! Areas such as the arms, butt, shoulders, and calves are only massagable via inflatible air bags.

The only complaints that I have are:
That the remote buttons don’t light up.
That the rollers on the lower back are so far down that they massage your tailbone rather than your back muscle. However, this could vary depending on your body shape.
The rollers on the neck are too wide. Your neck sits right between them both so the only way to get a neck massage is to shift one way and then the other.

Overall, it is a great chair for the price. It has good settings and is easy to control and put together. It is super quiet so it’s great for the living room and to use while watching TV.

  44. Ted (verified owner)

Overall, this has been a great relaxation chair and an OK massage chair.

The chair arrived in two boxes on two different days. The only tracking information was for the larger box which arrived second. Assembly was easy, although the directions don’t match the actual chair 100%. For starters, the first step is to unfold the chair and click it into place. I did this accidentally when I took it out of the box, but it closed on the remote cord! I was able to find the release, and thankfully the cord wasn’t damaged. The other issue is that it shows screws and a screwdriver being used to secure the chair, when in fact it was allen bolts and an allen wrench. The chair made it difficult to turn the allen wrench more than a little at a time. Do yourself a favor and buy or borrow an allen wrench bit so that you can drive it with a bit screwdriver or an electric screwdriver/drill.

My first few times on the chair were somewhat disappointing. I’m 5’11”, and when I sat in the chair normally I could feel some rollers firmly on my lower back and some very lightly on my neck. My wife pointed out that I could remove the pad behind my back, and that made the back massage go from 2 to 4 stars for me. I love the airbags; they really seem to help with relaxation.

So far I’m nearly 100% on falling asleep in the zero-g position, making this an excellent place to relax. I come home after international travel and am awake at weird hours the first few days home. This chair is quiet enough that I can use it about 10 feet from my wife’s head without waking her while she’s using a phone white noise machine. The built-in Bluetooth speaker connects quickly and is a nice addition when nobody else is trying to sleep in the room. I have some massage-type music on my phone that puts me in the perfect mood to pass out during the cycle.

My biggest gripe is the lack of backlit buttons. There’s an easy-to-read tft screen, but without a flashlight the buttons are impossible to read in a dim room. I’m starting to get a feel for the main ones I use, but either leave the lights on or bring a flashlight if you want to program a custom cycle. I’m also not a fan of the auto relax program starting by itself every time I turn on the chair. I’d prefer it to let me select a program and then start, but that’s admittedly a very minor complaint.

In summary, I’m glad I got this chair, and I think it will get used a lot.

Before the pandemic I enjoyed regular Spa days and Massages.
The Real Relax 2020 Massage Chair is the next best thing! The many settings offer an overall full body massage experience. The airbags are delightful because they give a true hands on feeling. It’s very soothing and tranquil. After just 10 minutes or so you’re lured into a delightful and restful nap of relaxation.

Because it’s nice to have your room darken when enjoying your massage, I do wish that the remote’s function buttons was designed to light up and not just the display. This way you could change the settings at ease without needing a flashlight or glasses.

The chair is most definitely worth the price. Easy to assemble and works great. I would have given 5 stars but I agree with a few of the other reviews. A few of the rollers are too hard, especially the feet and lower back. Which is my next con, the buttocks option is more lower back and the neck rollers may be placed a tad high. The airbags on the calves are also about too much.
It was extremely easy to assemble except for the fact that it didn’t come with all of the required screws. The two that came with it are for the wheels but two are also needed for the sides.
Overall, still very much worth the price in comparison to similar chairs.

Update: operates still the same however; the company stated that they would send a credit and gift after we submit a review. They have not nor will they reply to any emails.

I ordered this massage chair for my mother before she pulled the trigger on a Costco chair (that ran >$6k). I am SO glad that we did because we got a wonder chair for a fraction of the price.

    PROS
    * SO many different modes
    * Huge variety of massage points (feet, lower back, upper back, forearms and calves)
    * The zero gravity function is amazing

    CONS
    * The remote isn’t self explanatory and I wish it lit up in the dark
    * My mother is shorter than me and finds that the rollers align better if she uses a pillow to sit on (not a big deal)

  48. Kristin Hall (verified owner)

I received my chair a week ago and I love it! It does exactly what I excepted. It was not terribly difficult to put together, it is comfortable to sit in while it is on but is definitely not a Saturday afternoon all day lounge in chair(I knew that was the case when I ordered it) my husband was surprised. I only wish you could get in the zero gravity position before it started running a program. My only complaint is FedEx delivered my chair to the wrong house. This is NOT the sellers fault, FedEx just can’t seem to get my house right.

TL/DR – For the low cost, you can get an experience in the same class as the premium brands. THIS. IS. AWESOME.

I’m going to compare this to my aunt-in-laws Osaka (which is insanely great). About 2 years ago I priced her Osaka, it was somewhere in the 8k-9k range. I can’t remember the exact model, so I can’t look up the current price; I would guess it is 5k-6k. This model was $900 before tax.

Overall: 85% as good as the Osaka for a fraction of the price. This exceeds what I was hoping for! It is a similar experience, which is spectacular.

Feet – 75% as good. I can’t remember if the Osaka has airbags on the feet, I think it did. This doesn’t. They both have rollers, so that is good. A foot airbag would be a superb improvement and is missed, but the feet get nice treatment.

Calves – 100% as good. Calf airbags are awesome, I can’t think of a difference. Very, very nice. Rollers might improve it, but I’m not sure.

Butt and hips – 100% as good. Awesome for the sacrum/sciatica. Great roller pressure, awesome airbags from the side (my favorite airbags). This is probably the best feature.

Lower back – 85% as good. Nice roller coverage. I think the roller do not move vertically on this and do move vertically on the Osaka, and that is very nice, but I don’t know if that feature is a massive improvement, lower back coverage is still very good.

Hands – 40% as good. I am pretty sure the Osaka has airbags for both hands and arms, this only has arms. The hand airbags are probably the feature I miss the most from the Osaka. You can kinda get the experience by moving your arms back to get your hand in the arm airbag, but it’s not as nice as the dedicated hand airbags.

Arms – 90% as good. I think he experience is the same. The Osaka, however, has much bigger recessed arm compartment, this is more of an indent than a compartment. Doesn’t really matter, though.

Mid-back – 85% as good. See low back.

Upper back – 60%-80% as good. Neither has great upper back for me, but I am 6’ 4”. I bet shorter people get a better experience. There are things you can do to improve this. There’s a Velcro pad that is removable that can get you more roller contact. If you lift your head up, pressure gets much better. I’m going to get out an airplane pillow and I bet that will get me to 80%. Edit: I figured out the secret; have a pillow and, when your are ready to work on upper back, adjust to multiple positions. If you move your arms and neck around, with some twists and different head elevations, you can get the rollers to really dig in to just about anywhere. Get active with positioning and upper back is great. Can’t compare to Osaki because I didn’t try this with Osaki.

Shoulders – 100% as good. They both have awesome shoulder airbags.

Head – 0% as good. This model does not massage the head.

Zero G – 75% as good. This does not lay you flat out, it’s more of a fully reclined recliner. The Osaka goes fully flat. Still very nice.

How is it for a 300 lb 6’ 4” guy? Just fine. Sturdy. Both the Osaka and this could be a bit more accommodating, but this still works for someone my size. Head support is actually better on this unit, but that’s probably because of the lack of a head massage.

The bottom line is that when I used my aunt’s Osaka, I really wanted that experience in my house. Badly. 5-9k just doesn’t make sense for my family. This gives me what I wanted for a cost that does make sense for my family and that makes me VERY happy. The Osaka is insanely great, this model is super great.

The massage chair itself is fantastic – it is a very comfortable chair with fantastic massage capabilities. We especially enjoy the heated leg massage and have found that despite my height – 6’3″ – the expandability of the leg and feet allows us all to fit well.

The one issue we had was missing bolts/screws to hold the arms on the chair. The arms slide into slots on the side of the chair toward to back, but the front of the arms require two bolts/screws to secure them to the chair. These bolt/screws were missing and I have not been able to find a bolt/screw that fits. So that means we have to be VERY careful in grabbing to arms to pull the chair or move the chair in any way as the arms will simply pull off the chair itself. Thus I rated the ease of installation as 2 stars due to missing parts.

I’ve rated the entire chair as 3 stars due to the missing bolts as well. If I can get this issue resolved, I would rate the chair as a 4 or 5 star item.

Update: missing bolts were received and the chair is complete. Updated my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

    My wife and I are both teachers and with massage parlors being a bit of a taboo these days, we were in desperate need for stress relief. I’ve used artificial massage devices in the past and usually ended up more nauseated than anything else. The Real Relax 2020 Massage Chair has been the answer we’ve been looking for! On a budget, we didn’t want our first experiment in massage chairs to run us up into the ‘decent deposit on a car’ range… and, just under a grand, we felt we were giving it a good chance to be decent (a starter chair, if you will) without breaking the bank. It’s been money well spent! Lots of good power for the lower back and excellent pressure from the airbags. If I could complain at all, it would be that I want that ‘hug’ to last longer… like indefinitely. =}

Was VERY easy to put together but is a heavy chair. Be forewarned… it’s solid. Needed my wife to assist in taking the base up the stairs but was able to easily roll it into our room and assemble it by myself thereafter. Looking forward to hopping back on it once the school day ends! =D

At first I was hesitant to order this massage chair because of its low prize tag with all the great features of an expensive chair I previously was looking and checking at I could not believe its true…. I had to double checked all the reviews for a day or two before I was convince it’s for real, so needless to say I went for it even though I was still not 100% sure what I will be getting.
Boy to our surprise, first, it arrived days much earlier than we expected- it was delivered via Fedex on two boxes and it was packaged so nicely protected. Unpacking the two boxes was so easy, and with the help of my petite wife we were able to carry it upstairs in our bedroom and by myself was able to assemble it needing only two bolt screws with a wrench that can came with it, and followed the air hoses color codes to finished the installation job.
My wife and I have been alternating using it everyday, and we are very happy we made this purchase because its relaxes us after a hard days works. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this chair for my husband’s birthday. Delivery was fast and it was super easy to assemble. My husband is 6ft 3in and it fits him perfectly. I am 5ft 9in and it fitst me perfectly as well.
We both love the zero gravity mode. By distributing the weight on the rollers, we get a even deeper massage.

One of my favorite features is the blue tooth. I love to listen to my music while getting massaged.

My husband’s favorite feature is the auto modes. He likes to switch between them during his massage. Each mode focuses on different areas of the body and provides pain relief in the areas needed.

The cons for this chaor is that you can’t save your manual options. If you want the same massage, you have to select them every time. It would also be nice if the remote had listed buttons. Other than that, we love this chair and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a zero gravity chair at a great price.

  54. C. (verified owner)

Great product. Easy to put together. Not a huge fan of the heat option. It makes my legs hotter than the rest of my body so I don’t use that feature often. I do wish it had a feature for your glutes and hamstrings. Also, I am 5’3″, athletic build. The neck rollers go a little higher on my head than I prefer. I might try sitting on a pillow. Also, the airbags feel good, but don’t reach me as well as they do people are are bigger than me. Overall, this was worth the money for me. The zero gravity is a necessity. There’s really nothing about it I don’t like.

This massage chair comes in two boxes. Mine arrived two days apart. The second box was much heavier. My wife and I both over 60 were able to get it into the house by using. Wasn’t easy but we got it done.
Assembly is not hard but follow instructions. You may be able to figure it out but the instructions will help a lot. Not very hard.
The chair is very relaxing. I use a small pillow for the waist area. The chair massages a little too hard for my taste at the waist and this makes it just right. Many will like it just the way it is. I also like a small travel pillow for my head, neck.. Hey I’m older.. Younger people will probably not care if they just one or not.
Has wifi for your music. Relaxing music with a massage is always a good combination. I really like this chair. After working as a nurse on my feet all day this is just right for my needs. The wife loves it too.

  56. Sarah T. (verified owner)

We have had the massage chair for a week now and my wife and I have used it multiple times a day since. The package arrived as scheduled in 2 boxes that match the dimensions listed in the product dimensions. This was important since the door we needed it to fit through was smaller going down to the basement. The larger box was easily moved with 2 people. Assembly took 15 minutes and barely require glancing at the instructions just to make sure you don’t mess it up.

Pros: Overall, the massage chair is pretty self explanatory for how to use and cycle through the preset options. The air bags and pressure from the cyclical massage plates/knobs give a good variety with regard to pressure. light pressure all the way to pretty decently hard pressure which you still feel the lingering effects of after getting out of the chair. This is important for my wife and I who both enjoy a hard massage from a masseuse. The Zero G mode is a must for really being able to relax as well FYI.

Cons: The head rest would benefit from having additional padding to allow your head to feel more supported. With a small pillow to lay on it is more comfortable. The leg rest does extend as stated, but it does not lock in place with is mildly annoying. Although the chair itself is more compact in comparison to other models after put together, as someone with a little broader shoulders, if you don’t have your arms in when the massage starts it is hard to get them in mid-massage (not a big deal, just slightly challenging if you want to read for a bit or glance at your phone and have to get your arm back in.

Overall, if I could, I would rate it at a 4.3 stars if I could. It is great value for the price compared to a massage chair I have used that was in the 2k range. Worth the price.

  57. Scott Payne (verified owner)

Amazing purchase!! I’ve wanted a massage chair for many years and always assumed they were out of my price range — imagine my surprise when I found a durable, comfortable chair loaded with features for under $1k!

Incredibly relaxing to sit in at the end of the day. I love to sit in this chair and zone out for 30-60 minutes at the end of the day. Perfect for stress relief. I love the extra features like bluetooth and heating too… it’s the extra cherry on top for a chair that didn’t really need it.

My only wish is that it was balanced a bit differently between upper and lower back. It hits the lower back aggressively and is a bit light on upper back where I could use it more. Similarly on the feet, the massage doesn’t quite hit the right spot. These are pretty minor downsides for what you’re getting for the price though!

  58. m (verified owner)

I ordered this for my mom, she can’t stop talking about it after she tried it at one of our friends house. She instantly fell for it and I can’t blame her. With all the functionality of this massage chair can offer, the price is unbeatable! The Zero Gravity setting is the best with heating function is our favorite. Our whole family has tested and by far we all agreed that this is a best buy! The only downside for us being petite, the shoulder airbags does not reached our blades. Other than that, I highly recommend this massage chair. Extreme comfort right in your home!

  59. Daniel (verified owner)

So, getting the chair was a pain in the ass. Only got the arm rests and had to contact support which did reply often but they just pretty much said wait. We waited about a month but the rest of the chair finally came.

As for the chair itself. The lower back rollers hurt so we ended up using a small blanket to cushion them. The chair itself is really small. I’m 5’9 and can’t really rest my head on the chair. It also sucks that the rollers are stationary because you pretty much have to be a specific size to get the most out of the chair.

The pros are the price is fine considering others being a couple thousand. The airbag squeezing is really the best thing. And the fact that you can do the “zero gravity” lay back and you can connect music through your phone.

My husband got me this chair for Christmas and I am nothing but impressed with it! It was super easy to assemble. It came in 2 boxes and we had it put together and on in about 6 minutes. The reason I give it a 4 on pain relief is because it doesn’t have thigh rollers and the neck section for me is a little far apart. I’m 5’6” 150lbs and I feel like I’m too small for the neck area to massage properly. However, my husband is 6’1” 240lbs and he said it works perfect for him. It’s super comfortable and the heat works amazing! We just got it today and we have both used it twice. Absolutely recommend!

  61. Dan (verified owner)

Great chair! Easy to assemble, instructions are a bit difficult it talks about “a screw” it means, the 2 large black screws included. You might based on the picture think you need to provide your own screw. The wheels were attached already so, use the 2 large screws for attaching the arms. Now on to the chair itself, it’s kind of more for people who are not to big. I’m 6-2 and my knees were to bent up so my calfs had trouble getting in the wells. My upper body fit ok the arm wells require bare arms I think or not a sweatshirt like I was wearing. Really felt great on the shoulders and hips and thighs! My daughter fit much better than I did. I believe the directions say up to 6-1″ so I pushed it a bit. Otherwise great sound and lights are cool, I haven’t figured the lights if just for looks or something else. I’d definitely recommend to people that fit the parameters with the thought in mind you can spend upwards of 10,000 dollars on a chair you get a bang for your buck with this one.

  62. Aly Hubb (verified owner)

This is a good chair for the money. It is lacking comfort just to sit in it–you have to use it. I find the Sacroiliac massagers to be too strong and the lumbar and thoracic spine massagers to be too weak. The heat is almost too hot, and the legs sure squeeze hard. These are all personal preferences for a 5’4 woman of average build. My husband agrees and he’s 5’7. I don’t feel like I am too short as I read in other posts, but I have a long torso. Overall, it is a good massage chair. It’s not as good as the ones you can pay like $5 for in some malls. It’s not as good as the ones at my nail salon, but it is close! I would buy it again, as the next price point I was looking at was $1,400, and that didn’t offer much more.

  63. Meghan K. (verified owner)

I’m sitting in the chair for my fourth massage as I write this. This chair is the perfect fix during covid, since I don’t feel comfortable going to get a massage (previously I would get a massage about 4-6 times a year). I’ve gotten massage chair massages at malls in the past, so I knew what to expect. Things that are different about this versus a mall massage chair: no under-the-butt rollers in this one (I didn’t like those anyway ), this chair has incredible Bluetooth speakers, the fact it does zero gravity (more on that in a bit), this has calf and foot massage (non existent in mall chair massages). On the first night we set it up, I did a 1 hour 15 minute sports massage in zero gravity and was sore in all the right places on my back the next day or two. I credit this to the zero gravity feature. One piece of feedback – it would be nice to be able to turn off the beeps the remote control makes to improve the ambiance.

  64. K (verified owner)

The chair itself is great! My husband and I both love it. I love, love, love the leg and hip air bags, as well as the option for heat in the lower back. It was super easy to put together (although really heavy to get up 3 flights of stairs!). If you are expecting to use this as a regular chair/recliner in addition to a massage chair, I would reconsider. I think the chair is great when it’s operating as intended (I.e. for massage), but I wouldn’t plan on watching a 2 hour movie in it. It’s definitely firm.

We ordered this chair around Thanksgiving, and unfortunately only just received it (about a month later) due to understandable shipping challenges. Customer service was great though and they promptly responded to all of our messages regarding shipping issues (the main chair got separated during the armrests during shipment). Overall, good experience and would recommend!

  65. Corey Burkhalter (verified owner)

I received this chair for Christmas. Don’t panic when you only receive only 1/2 a chair on your Fedex tracking shipping date, you will receive another box the next day. It was packaged well. It came in two large packages and my husband put it together in a matter of minutes. The chair is AMAZING. I have restless legs and the squeezing of the leg features has helped me 100%. I give it four stars except for the Comfort rating, however, I’m short and I found that the lower back rollers was hitting into my tailbone. I put a small pillow behind my lower back and it’s prefect. I could stay in this chair all day. The controls were easy to use. Took only a matter of minutes to figure it out. This chair has surpassed all my expectations.

  66. Vi T. (verified owner)

Good for what you pay for! Arrived in two boxes at two different times but the seller was very responsive and provided both tracking numbers. It was extremely easy to assemble as the main unit was one large piece and we just needed to attached the two arms. The massage is better than expected and very relaxing. The upper body could be a bit stronger but the lower back is strong and intense. The whole chair is very compact and not bulky at all. It looks great in my bedroom. I plan to use this everyday!

Update: This chair will work better for a bigger/taller person. I’m 5’4 so the air bags for the shoulders don’t really help me at all and the air bags in the arms are a bit weak due to me smaller frame. It works very well for my husband

  67. Larry B. (verified owner)

Bought this chair for myself for Christmas. Great chair for a great price, however I wish the upper shoulder and neck roller and/or massage were better, barely feel if at all. Unfortunately there is nothing on the upper shoulder/shoulder blades or lower/mid neck which are extreme stress points. Also wish the foot platform was adjustable. Rollers only cover middle of my foot to heel. Would love for entire foot to be covered.
On a positive note the chair offers a great selection of auto modes to suit your needs. The zero gravity feature is great as well. The chair is very comfortable and easy to assemble. The motor is very quiet. The chair is very stylish, modern and doesn’t take up too much room. The airbags are great. I’d recommend this chair. I wouldn’t give a 5 star review based upon my upper body massage review, however I would give more then a 4 star. I’d say it’s more along the lines of a 4.7.

  68. Nova Harrop (verified owner)

The chair came was to arrive between 6 and 12 January. On 2 January it was at our garage door. It took 2 of us to get it into the house.

Set up was easy there were 3 electric plugins to be plugged in 6 air hoses and one power cord and 2 screws it took all of about 10 -15 minutes to put together. I think anyone can do it with ease.

The chair is a massage chair and not meant to be set in for more than 30 minutes. It is comfortable but if you are in if for more than 30 minutes it can be come uncomfortable.
Both my wife and i tried it today and yesterday. The first time i set it for 10 minuets and it was way to short of a time.
The remote is easy to use but you do need to experiment with it to figure out what it does.
My wife likes the balls on here feet as they spin around.
I had done my research and saw about 20% of he people had some issues. I attribute many of them to unrealistic expectations. I went to one of the local stores to see what they had to offer and new what to expect.
To me the neck area was weak so I simply moved the padding and it improved it significantly. The waist portion for my wife was a little intense so we added a blanket around the area there.
Both my wife and are are big about 250 lbs. We had some difficulty getting are arms into the arms compression area. If you know what to expect and have done your homework you will find it is good fore what it is designed to be used for. As I have read issues of not working after a few uses i will get back with you in about 3 months or if something goes bad.

Overall I am very satisficed with the chair anticipate usage of up to 1 hour per day. half an hour by me and half by my wife.

  69. Boris Valkov (verified owner)

The chair is comfortable, good looking and good quality. Easy to assemble and easy to move around the rooms.

Few things to be aware of. The description says max hight 6’1 and I’m within the range but feels little small for the legs. Also my neck goes too much back but this can be easily fixed with pillow. The back massage can be little painful especially in zero gravity mode but here we also use pillow and it makes it comfortable.

Overall we’re very happy with the chair. Pretty good value for the price.

  70. Megan Miles (verified owner)

The product looks nice and is certainly relaxing. Easy enough to put together though you may need two people to hold things in place for final screws. The massagers aren’t on a track so you can’t modify their location (that’s a big deal for most people!) but it is a nice experience overall. Better for people who want a low back massage than upper back. The air massagers are nice too but do less for petite people. Music is a cool touch. Everything came without damage and it’s really a good chair for the price. If it breaks I think we’ve gotten our money’s worth to know we want to invest in something nicer later. But hey it may not break! Seems sturdy to me.

I purchased this chair for my wife for Christmas. She has back problems and I wanted to get her something that could help with her back pain. I gave it to her a few months before Christmas and we have been using it three months now. I don’t think I would call this a comfortable chair to just sit in. If you are massaging it isn’t bad but I wouldn’t want to sit in it without massaging. The chair was delivered in two separate boxes on different days. It was easy to assemble. I believe it was a couple bolts and around 6-8 hoses that get pushed onto fittings. The calf, forearm, and shoulders are airbags that inflate and deflate. There is no rubbing motion to those areas. The bottom of the feet massage and can get a little strong for my taste depending on how my feet are positioned. I have found that I can just reposition my feet a little and find a spot that I like. There are also settings for how hard you want some of the areas. We generally keep it on the most aggressive settings. There is a flat that is removable for a headrest. We noticed that the upper back was not getting massaged all that well with that flap between us and the chair. We took it off and use a pillow just under our head. This allows us to feel that area more and is actually more comfortable as well. We both really love having the chair. When looking at chairs, I chose this one based on reviews and pricing. It had good reviews without totally breaking the bank. I would recommend this chair. I don’t have any experience with any other chairs in this price range.

1st the good. I have a bad back and nerve damage I am 6’1″ and 240 lbs. The chair works well and does give me relief of muscle pain. Because of the nerve damage I lile the firm rollers and strong air bags around my arms and legs. After 2 plus years the chair has worked well with a few issues. Normally it gets about 1 hour of use a day. It does make it easy to fall asleep in even though the manual says dont sleep in the chair. Niw some of the bad. About a year after I got the chair the stitching on the cloth and zipper cover over the back rollers came out the spinning rollers wrapped up the zipper and caused the roller assembly to strip. I contacted the seller and in a week or so they sent me a new roller set. I stitched up the cover and havent had an issue since. Like I said im over 6′ it is a little uncomfortable to put my arms in the arm rests when I am sitting upright in the chair but fine when reclining. The neck rollers sit high in my upper back near the top of my sholders but thats normally where my neck and sholders hurt. The foot part of the chair catches a lot of dust and what ever is on your feet. When my wife uses the chair she puts a heavy blanket down because the rollers are very firm. My wife is 5’4″ and the same neck rollers sit at the knobby part at the base of her head. She said when we first got it it was perfect but as the padding wore out she sits lower. On a positive ending for the price I can but 1 of the next higher rated chairs or 3 of these over 10 years and still be happy I did. I did pay for the warranty incase something broke but haven’t had to use it yet.

    Like:
    1) Very easy to assemble. One person can assemble.
    2) Zero Gravity mode is very good and feel the massage pressure more than in normal mode
    3) Comfort
    4) Not too bulky, takes very less space

    Dislike:
    1) Took more time to reach. May be due to holiday season. It contains two packets. One packet came one day and second one reached after 1 week.
    2) For small personalities you need adjust your body accordingly to massage on exact body points that need massage

I know you can spend thousands of dollars for these massaging chairs. When I saw this for under $1,000.00 I was very skeptical wondering if the quality would be compromised with such an inexpensive price tag. However, I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend. Boy what a pleasant surprise. It is everything we want it to be and more. It works perfectly and has literally changed our lives. My husband especially works very hard physically everyday and comes home sore and then wakes up stiff. This has been a game changer for him. He rolls out of bed in the morning and goes straight to the chairs to loosen him up and get him going. Then at night he uses it before bed to relax and massage his sore muscles. I of course use it all the time to relax from the stress of daily life. I also suffer from neuropathy with major foot and leg pain. The leg and foot massagers are amazing! This thing is the BEST! With the bluetooth feature as well, you can set up your phone and listen to music or a podcast and just unwind and reset. It’s been a game changer for us.

This is my first massage chair purchase. I was concerned and spent a lot of time researching trying to figure out what the best options for my price range was. In the long run, my purchase decision was based primarily with the durability of the chair (support up to 400 lbs), zero gravity, and back rollers combined with full body — for the conservative price. I am a large man (350 lbs) and this chair has sustained me well with daily usage. I was also concerned about fitting in a chair with my girth, and it does seat me comfortably (albeit snugly). This chair was a great purchase for me in that it is quality and durable without getting into the multiple-thousand dollar range. My wife, aged mother-in-law, adult daughters, and sons-in-law have all enjoyed the chair. My wife is on the smaller end (4’10”) which was also a concern in my research, but the chair has also worked well for her. She falls asleep frequently during daily massages. So this chair supports both the large and small. Assembly was relatively easy, but as I cannot bend well and get on the ground, my son-in-law helped put it together in about 10 mins. My only negative find so far is at 5’10” the upper back rollers don’t seem to get in between my shoulder blades region that well. The lumbar area and mid-back have great coverage, and then tops of shoulders/neck has a fair massage — just not feeling it that well in the higher back. All in all, I would buy this chair again and would recommend to my family/friends.

  76. Linda (verified owner)

Would give 4 1/2 ⭐’s if that was an option.

My husband is 6’2″ and I am 5’3″ and comfort for both heights and body issues was a big determination with our purchase. We both fell very comfortable sitting in the chair both upright and zero gravity positions. The heat feature is amazing on the sore muscles. Although I did read reviews that said the air bags in arms and legs were too tight I was a little nervous because I am claustrophobic. I think the airbag feature is my favorite! I am on my feet a lot and the foot massages and leg airbags is perfect. Shoulder airbags help relieve the stress- LOVE THE AIRBAGS!

My husband has back problems. The zero gravity position helps him get the relief he needs while getting a relaxing massage. He will in certain positions put a pillow behind him to soften the massage.
We are still learning the machine and the few problems we have with it will probably be answered through trial and error. The bad (atleast for now) when the machine stops the balls used to massage the back don’t go back into the machine, they poke into your back until you turn it on and shut the back mode off. The higher intense massage is REALLY hard. The machine seems to have that as its default when you turn it on, then you adjust it by pressing the – key. Again could be our lack of experience with the chair.

Overall we are pleased with our purchase for this price point. We have bought cheaper ones in the past and they lasted about 2 years and not as good in massaging.

Overall I like the chair. It was pretty easy to put together with a cordless drill and some allen wrench bits. The bolt-holes that hold the arms to the chair body are a bit difficult to line up but with some patience it can be done. It took me about 20 minutes to insert the bolts and hook up the air lines. Chair is stylish and looks great. It does a fantastic job on my lower back and bottom of my feet. A bit lacking in the neck and upper shoulder area. Heat feels on calves but heat in the lower back could be better. Overall for a $900 chair it’s a good deal and worth the money in my humble opinion. I give this chair 4 and 1/2 Stars.

I like the variety of built in programs. I like the zero gravity and for the most part all of my muscles can be massaged. I would prefer if the rotating back rollers moved closer to my spine vs. being more wide on my back. I also would like the rollers in the neck to massage along the spine. I do realize the chair is not perfect for everyone. I feel for the money it does a great job and I sit on a pillow or I adjust myself so the rollers hit better where I need them. The Bottom half of the remote is not lit up. Ony the diagram of the of the chair has light. Overall it does a great job.

The chair came quickly and actually arrived earlier than originally stated. It comes in one very large box that contains the chair, and a smaller (but still large) box that contains the two side panels. You’ll need assistance or a dolly to move the largest box but the smaller box is doable by yourself. The boxes were banded and everything was packaged sufficient enough to prevent damage during shipping. Installing the side panels was a breeze; just locate the hinges and install one hex head bolt on each side (tool included). Three air tubes and one electrical connector per side and you’re done. Fit and finish looks very, very nice and I couldn’t be happier. I’m 5’10” tall and 200lbs and the chair fits me just fine. I’m very happy with the massage rollers and air bags and the remote allows an automatic massage or a fully customizable one. Overall – very pleased with this purchase! I definitely recommend this chair based on quality, function and price point. I doubt you could do much better than this for the price. I read where other people had issues with their chair but the company seems to back the product which is great – but I didn’t see anything at all wrong with my chair and I’m pretty nit picky. Buy one, you won’t be disappointed! (PS – I tried to upload a picture but for some reason it’s not working)

Well being honest I don’t fit in the chair, but my wife and daughter report it’s very enjoyable and the remote is fairly intuitive and can customize the massage. My wife says it could use a better head rest, but that’s it.

On a personal note I reached out to the seller about possibly returning it seeing as I am the main person who needs it. Their customer service was very helpful offering me a few different choices. A+++ on customer service!

My husband found this chair a bit too intense but for me it is absolutely PERFECT! I suffer from severe chronic back pain, I have all my life. I’ve only ever had relief with heating pads sometimes and no over the counter meds have ever helped. The shipping was via fedex which is unfortunate because it sat at a facility an hour from me for 2 days straight. They also seemed to have handled it roughly, the box was in terrible shape and the base is cracked. If it weren’t for that I would have given it a 5 star rating.

  82. Jacob (verified owner)

It came in 2 boxes on the same day in perfect condition and looked great. It was a little heavy to move but wasn’t impossible. Best to have 2 people lift the main box.
The massage itself is pretty decent – you shouldn’t compare this to the $5000 massage chairs. They have different components and adjustable rollers. These are set rollers and call you can control is the speed. You can control the strength of the compression airbags and the heat works well.

For me, the “waist” roller can be a bit painful but that’s possibly only my experience. I haven’t messed with the Bluetooth. I tried to download the app but it was too glitchy to register an account. Overall, I think that it’s a good unit to purchase and it’s definitely better than having no massage. Just don’t set your expectations too high, and you’ll be satisfied with the chair.

For a chair that’s under $1k, it’s a solid chair. Some simple tweaks would make this chair a steal at $900. The lower back rollers are harsh on the your tailbone. The neck rollers may as well be non existent, you can barely tell they are there. I’m 6ft tall and the chair is still comfortable but in zero g, it will not get my calves. The arm airbags are a tease. They squeeze down with decent pressure and then release after about 1-2 seconds. I wish they held tight for at least 5 seconds at a time. Besides the calf airbag, I wasn’t thrilled with any of the other airbags pressure. All in all, solid build, could use a few minor tweaks and this chair would be a steal.

The delivery for this chair was very fast. I think it took a week to get here. It came in two boxes, but was really only in 3 pieces. It was easy to put together. The hose connection was the most difficult part. Those wold be the air hoses connected on each side. Also when you get the chair check all of the connections. The seat cushion wasn’t connected on ours, we had to figure that part out. The chair is interesting. I have only used it once so far and it felt great. I am not sure about the zero g though. It puts the massage on a lower part of your back, and may cause some discomfort or pain.It feels really good on the back of the shoulders and feet for me. We only received it yesterday, so more testing is involved. I think for the price, it will be worth it.

The chair arrived Friday! Here is a honest review. I’m very happy with it for the price I paid. I have had the opportunity to use much more expensive chairs but didn’t want to pay the high price for one as my first purchase. The real relax arrived in two boxes. UPS left it in front of my garage. I was able to get it inside with the help of a friend. FYI it can be done solo, it’s heavy but not impossible, especially if you have a dolley.

It took about a half hour to put together with very minimal swearing. the hoses connect easily enough, and the side panels click in easily. the two bolts that secure the side panels are a bit tricky to get luned up andstarted but once you have that it’s smooth sailing.

the chair: The lower back massage is excellent, powerful and effective. The chair doesn’t hit my shoulders and neckas well as I’d like but if I was a bit shorter (6’00”) they would hit my neck perfect. The foot rollers are great, I saw some complaints that they were to intense but I don’t find that the case at all.

The air bags on the legs, hips and arms are great, very comforting and good pressure. the shoulders aren’t as effective, again height.

The heat feature is nice, takes a bit to get warm but I like that it’s gradual and not super powerful.

The remote is fine, I saw some complaints about it, but itscuser friendly and functional. I like it.

Overall I like the chair a lot. I’ve used the zero gravity, relax, spirt and sleep modes, fell asleep in the relax and sleep modes, the sports mode was more intense but felt good.

The Bluetooth speakers deliver good sound. I’ve included two pictures, one shows the wall clearance needed to have room for zero G recline, not bad.

Listen it’s under a $1000.00. it delivers a good massage and works well. if I have any issues I’ll update but I love this chair for the price range, 5 stars.

From the time it was delivered to actually using it was about 20 minutes. Set the arms on the rails, screw them in place and connect color coded air tubing. Pretty self explanatory. My husband and I both love this chair.

    LIKE:
    The Bluetooth works great.

    The calf airbag is amazing.

The preset programs are nice. (6 to choose from.)

My favorite thing is the zero gravity.

    DISLIKE:

Only the top two buttons slightly light up on the remote, so if you want to use this in a dark room, it won’t be easy. I HAVE CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND THEY REPLIED THAT IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY.

The “breathing lights” on the side are pretty much useless as you can’t see them while you’re in the chair unless maybe you had a mirror?

I wish the timer went up to an hour. A half hour in, you’re just getting the benefits of it.

The neck roller feels like a feather and doesn’t really “get in there”. I’ve tried sitting differently with no luck.

Not enough padding in the head rest. I’m 5’9 and I can feel the support to built the chair with. I usually just toss a small pillow back there and that helps.

The forearm air bags don’t quite have as much pressure as I’d like.

OVERALL, I’d still purchase this chair again. We use it daily in our home, some days multiple times.

the feet are down low do not purchase bad quality bad customer service I’ve been trying for motor contact to get labels to ship back for a refund nothing I wish I never got this now .
After a few times in the chair now I’m not to pleased with the way it feels against my lower back it seems to dig into it to hard or not enough padding there . I use a bean pillow behind my lower back to reduce that. And it don’t really do my neck as well as the one I tried in the store .I am very disappointed and I want a refund. A shipping label and I’m also in severe pain and now I’m expected to just run out use my gas to buy a box to ship it back. I’m definitely going to file complaints online a d may even call a lawyer soon if they don contact me today. I can’t take this anymore. Trouble sleeping getting comfortable legs hurting too someone needs to contumely for a return and send help with pAckaging shipping

chair came in 2 boxes , which is great for getting it in the house and assembled. takes about a half hour to assemble and pretty strait forward. worked right away no issue. remote is very pro looking and lots of adjustments to dial it in. quality is top notch better than expected. The only reason I said comfort 4 stars(but overall 5 stars is that if you use this for sitting like watching a movie or something for a long time, you will need an extra but or seat custion for comfort as that area is a little light than a chair you might be used to. also in some cases so blood does not rush to head when reclined you may want to use a pillow or extra for head as the same for that area. It’s not bad it’s just not a super plush area. The motors are strong and can be adjusted if they seem too much. Highlights are the squeeze air bags which are quite good. overall very nice chair

When I first received this chair it wouldn’t turn on. I contacted the seller and they instructed me on how to repair this item.

After I complety disregarded their poor instruction (with photos showing nothing about how to access and repair the product), I read the product warranty and reviewed what would void my warranty before. I re-connected the connections that became loose during transit. The chair worked great. I was disappointed with the cloth under the seat that had been torn even before I received this item.

All in all the chair workes great. Minor repair and miss guidance asside, my wife loves this chair…and everyone else that has sat in it so far. A friend of mine who has sat in it has been convinced to buy one for himself as well. My wife loves the Bluetooth feature as well. On many occasions she has been so relaxed in the chair she has fallen asleep. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

I’ve had it well over a year now and all is good functionally. I consider this as sort of entry level into the world of massage chairs .For the price I’m satisfied. I use it for 15/20 minutes a couple times a week. That doesn’t seem like much as I sit here and type it, but they are an awesome 15 to 20 minutes! I fall asleep half the time. Take your time assembling it….it’s not a race and it goes together well. There was a problem with some plug but the seller sent back very easy to follow instructions ,basically just had to pull it out and push it back in. Maybe I’ll get one of those $4k chairs someday but I bet they’re not that much better!

  91. Sean (verified owner)

It was very easy to assemble and put together as it was just connecting plugs being the only thing you would have to set up. Once you get your first package it is only the main unit and you will be getting the second package in a separate box, I was worried at first but the support told me it would be two separate boxes being shipped. For me, the second box came in the following day after I got the first box with the main unit.

When it comes to the quality of the massage chair, it helps get in your lower back and back great with zero gravity on. The only thing I wish would be better is the massage knobs near your shoulder blade but besides that, it works great. The massage balls are great as you can control the strength of the massage ball knobs to low, medium. and hard. Overall, it is a great machine for the price.

After a major snafu in delivery, and please be aware that this item ships in 2 separate boxes, I finally received both boxes and had my son put it together for me due to a bad back. Assembly was really easy and took less than 15 minutes.

This chair has done as promised in the posting. I love the preloaded programs on the chair. Saves me the time to figure out what I like and don’t like. One note to make though – DO NOT overuse the chair! You will be bruised and sore! I made that mistake and was unable to sit in the chair for 2 days. I now limit usage to 2 sessions (of 15 minutes each) a day.

One other note that others have mentioned – I don’t like that the footrest is situated on a spring that relies on you to provide the pressure to keep it pushed out (for those of us who are taller). In other chairs I have tested out, the footrest is mechanical- not manual.

Another note is for those bigger people. I am 6 ft and 280 lbs. I bought this chair knowing the chair was NOT wide enough for me to be able to place my arms inside the chair. Obviously this was not a deal breaker for me. I am just making the point for others to know this fact. The chair is plenty comfortable, provides an amazing massage (and believe me when I say I have a really bad back) and has helped me get through a day or night. The relief provided is almost magical. For the price this is one hell of a chair!

  93. R Smith (verified owner)

Got it for the office and have only had it a week but everyone loves it. The compression pillows are great – they’re in all the right places.
Quality seems good. Easy to assemble.
Only reason not 5 stars is it shipped UPS in 2 boxes – one of which I had to go pick up from UPS b/c they said it was 205 lbs. It wasn’t even close to that. Not a big deal but an inconvenience for sure.

  94. Mark Iwaoka (verified owner)

I wish the arms did more massage and you have to be a linebacker to feel the shoulder pressure—the average person is too skinny for the shoulder pads. The only other draw back is the legs are at a 90 degree angle. It would be more relaxing if could be straight and not bent at the knee. That all said, I LOVE it! It is so relaxing and I love the heat feature. You can customize your massage.

Well let me start by saying I normally don’t write reviews but because this was such a large amount of money to spend, I thought that it would be good to write a review to help out those who are considering purchasing this fine message chair. I bought this chair for my husband as a birthday gift. He was overwhelmed with having his own message chair. Due to Covid he was not able to go to the mall and use the message chairs there which he loved to do. So getting this chair for him was truly a good investment. Well it’s a great chair it does everything it says except one thing message the shoulders the rollers focus mostly on the lower back and being a full body message chair I thought that the rolls would travel up and down the back all the way to the neck line and then the rollers would expand and message both shoulders. However it does not do that . I did not read the description very well with a clear understanding of what the chair does. I could tell that my husband was a little disappointed because the chair didn’t message his shoulders although he would never tell me due to the chair being a birthday gift That’s the only disappointing thing about this chair so if you want a message chair that message the whole entire back including shoulders then this is not the chair for you. Other than that this is a great chair for your lower back you might need a little padding or pillows because the rollers tend to dig deep which can be a little uncomfortable. But buyers be where it’s always said that you get what you pay for. For the chairs price point it’s worth buying if you are ok with just your lower back getting message. Oh and the chair is really easy to assemble with two people putting it together.

I got this massage chair during the pandemic since we can’t go to any spas. This chair was absolutely the right choice and the money was well spent! The set up was completely user friendly but it did take me few days to get familiar with the chair operations. The massage chair massages your neck, your shoulder, your back and your foot with a heating function. If you are looking to relax after a hardworking day, look no else where.

I purchased this chair as a birthday gift for my mom. My mom is recently started chemo and complained of leg pain for approximately 5 days after her infusion. I’ve searched numerous chairs prior to choosing this one.

This chair is beautiful on the eyes, affordable and works as described. The reviews for this chair does nothing for my actual experience. My immediate family of 4 generations loves and enjoys this chair. My mother thanked me over and over for a gift she can really use.

I live in a 3 family house. My brother and flipped 1 box upstairs by turning over and over. He was able to carry the other box.

Putting the chair together was a breeze. Easy to follow instructions.

    I have no complaints.
    I’m so pleased.

I have chronic pain and significant muscular and arthritic issues in my neck, back, knees, etc. I bought 3 massage chairs at the same time, one for each of our places. This one, an entry level massage chair, for our lake cottage. We spend the least time there and do the least strenuous work/ exercise there as well. The other 2 chairs were Medical Breakthrough brand, and cost over $4000 each. Those went to our main residence, and Florida, where we play alot of golf. The Real Relax is a great basic chair. The biggest shortcoming I have found is if you’re over 6 ft tall, you have to scrunch down in the chair to get the rollers to hit the right spots in your back. Otherwise, dollar for dollar, the chair is a great buy for the money, and appears to be the exact same chair as the Medical Breakthrough with a few less cool features (and a few thousand less buckaroos on the price tag). Don’t let the low price tag scare you away from this chair!

The back/waist massage can hurt quite a bit, but I put the top padding around the neck portion to the bottom back portion which seem to help out. Also the package did come in 2 deliveries. Very easy to assemble, my husband L5 disk has been a problem for years and he is refusing surgery so this was purchase to help with back massage after standing up on his feet all day at work. He likes it’s a lot.

I feel like the feet rollers should of came out more-extend them out longer they r to short, the shoulders air bags don’t touch me im 5″81/2 , maybe they might touch someone at 6 feet(?), I cannot use the bottom back rollers due to a metal cadge in my back, the rollers r to hard, if they were soft -maybe…I like the chair it’s comfortable , compatible, the color is good. I can sit in it for ever. Need more leg pressure on my white chicken legs though. But it feels good..

I waited to review this because I wanted to use it for a bit first. I’m very pleased with it. My friend has one that is a bit more comfortable and has a few more settings but she paid double the price. I am 5’3” and my husband is 6 ft., we both love it! The foot massage part alone is worth the price! We have both used it at least once a day since we bought it a month ago and many days we both use it twice a day. Both of us suffer with autoimmune diseases that cause muscle and joint pain and this chair definitely makes us feel better! I was apprehensive about it being a quality chair because the price is so low, but it is and it was SUPER easy to set up!!

  102. Stephanie E. (verified owner)

This chair great!! I took a risk buying this because I wasn’t sure how far back it could recline. I’m a Lash Tech and this chair works great. I bought this because 90% of my clients have back issues or start to become uncomfortable laying straight back on a massage bed. I let them use the full body massage for 10 minutes as I prep. Then I leave the buttocks, calves, feet, and arm functions on for the 30 mins max setting. That way it does not disturb me while I work. The chair is pretty silent.

This chair is also great for me because lashing for a full day also takes a toll on my back. I use this at the end of the day and feel great.

My brother and I also train in Jiu Jitsu. This chair is a damn god send!!!

Everything seems to work smoothly, I will update again in a few months.

  103. Kate (verified owner)

I wanted to wait awhile before writing a review. It has now been four months and not once have I regretted this purchase. I use this chair almost daily as I am in an occupation where I am on my feet all day for 12 hour shifts.

My favorite feature is the foot massage! I love the heat and the lower back massagers too.

The neck massager doesn’t work well and I hardly ever use the arm air bags.

My biggest complaint is the neck massagers and the remote buttons do not glow. The remote glows to show what parts are on, but if you want to add heat or turn off a function you have to memorize where the button should be.

Overall, I have recommended this chair to a bunch of people. I love sitting in it and use it daily. No regrets!

  104. Michminer (verified owner)

The rollers are not adjustable for the height of the orrson in the chair. I’m 5’4″ and my husband is 5’10” and the shoulder/back roller hits mid head to base of skull. The control does not have a backlight to see the controls. I do like the fact you can manually select what you want. I love the airbags compression! If i had to do it again i would save my money longer to get one that you can adjust the height of the rollers.

This was a bit heavy to get in the door so try to have a friend or family member nearby to get in the door. My fiancé was able to handle abs assemble himself very easily. The chair itself is love! I love the heat option and the 0 gravity. It looks sleek in my living room and is great self care option after a long day. I do have a bad neck and upper back and lower back. This chair focuses really well on the lower back but could be a little stronger in the neck and upper back area. But for the price I’d def buy again!

I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review. So it’s been 6 months now and I wanted to give an honest assessment.
I received the item new but it wasn’t turning on. I was a little stress out since this was a large unit and shipping the item back would be a pain in the butt. I tried to disassemble and reassemble, maybe I put it together wrong. And it still didn’t work. So I called the 800 number and after a few tries a young lady answered. I told her the issue about the power not turning on.
She then referred me to the technician dept. who I had to email. After a day or 2 I got an email response from the technician and he gave me picture by picture instructions to open up the motherboard of the chair.
The cover which I had to open was located on the bottom of the chair near the back. After I got the cover open I notice the power connection clip was dislodged from the base. I simply hooked it back up and the chair was powered up successfully.
After a week of getting the chair I was finally able to enjoy it. I noticed the chair was made for larger people. I’m 5”9 and the shoulder massage cushions barely able to massage me. My wife is 5’3 and her shoulders can’t get a massage because she is shorter. So I feel this chair was made for someone bigger than 5’7.
As for the functions it’s got plenty. I really enjoy the heat feature it has during the massage. The intensity of the massage can be control from the remote. It also has an incline feature where the chair is almost at a 90 degree angle from the floor.
All my friends love the chair when they come visit. A few has actually fallen asleep during the massage.
The price wasn’t to bad also I think it was $850 with free shipping.

***** Update: the company sent me a brand new main unit free of charge. I didn’t even have to return the old unit which would have been a pain based on its size. I’m glad they chose to do this instead of send me parts to repair myself. For that reason, my rating was changed from 1 star to 4.

Within the first month, the neck massager pretty much stopped working. When it would actually work, the mechanism on the right side of the neck massager began making an awful sound like it’s skipping the track it’s supposed to be on and ended up completely out of sync. That being said, I’ve just messaged the company and we will see how they respond. If they send me a new upper mechanism instead of sending in my chair I will change my rating. I’ve heard nightmares about the returns and it looks like it can be unplugged and unscrewed/screwed in easily so I hope this is the case. I will update my review accordingly.

It works good from the feet to mid chest & head, the top rollers for my shoulder blades does not massage well, I can’t really feel it, which is the reason we purchased this chair. I have to push back hard to feel the rollers, but the instructions says not to, so it doesn’t serve its purpose. But it works okay, I would like it better if it massaged my shoulder blades. Also it states that it fits people up to 6 feet, my friend is 6 feet and he cannot stretch his legs out fully. The air bags feel awesome on my legs arms and thighs, but I am not wide enough to feel the shoulder bags. My next purchase will be a chair I actually sit in before making a decision.

  109. Justine Jensen (verified owner)

I bought this massage chair to help with chronic pain and it works very well. The neck rollers work but are seated deep into the chair so they aren’t very useful but my brother-in-law has one and his neck rollers work fine so it might not be a common issue. But it’s helped greatly. It has a TON of settings so you can make a custom setting that fits your needs and it has a heat button which is my favorite feature. All in all a good purchase and worth the money.

  110. robert arnett (verified owner)

This chair has multiple airbags that squeeze pretty tight, there are also a bunch of rollers for your feet and upper and lower back. It also provides heat massage if desired. The best feature is the zero gravity mode where the chair can lay all the way back to put you in a very comfortable position. I recommend this chair especially after reviewing others.

My hubby and I have been known to go to the mall for ‘date night’ and sit in the message chairs over and over… I finally decided we could use one at home and began shopping both online and in stores. The price and functions matched what we desired and was the best deal in our opinion…. We received the chair in February and now that it’s June I feel safe to say it is everything we wanted and will last the test of time. I still crack up: Every time he gets in the chair he will shoult to me, “thanks for my chair!”

Me and my brothers had bought this as a mother’s day/ birthday gift, as she’s been asking for a massage chair for a while. We surprised her and she and my gang members loved it.Although it may not be the best quality (one of the air pumps for hips broke already) it gets the job done and has many great features including the bluetooth and zero G!Otherwise we like the product and for the best reviewed chair at its price point, it is well worth it in our opinion!

i first tried this chair at my workplace as a zen den for the employees. As soon as I used it I had to ask where did they get it and how much it was. When I found that it was at a really decent price I knew that I had to get one for myself! Usually, if it seems too good to be true then be wary. If I didn’t get to try it myself, then I may have not gotten it. However, I do recommend getting one!

Word of caution though! I was able to assemble it myself, but it would be better to have some assistance to help lift and hold things. It says it on the box and all.

So MAKE SURE to have some help planned for the day it arrives. It’s pretty heavy when you have to lift it, but it has wheels to move it around once you get it out of the box.

If you can get one and have some space for it, GET IT!!!

Oh, the menu pad shakes a bit during the massage, I just taped a nonslip cushion thing behind it.

  114. ann m woodruff (verified owner)

I like the anti-gravity features. It takes pressure off my back. The massage is adjustable, but I’ve yet to master all the features. I also enjoy the heat options.

If you add thin pillows, you can remove the “strong “massage from sensitive areas. I have to really learn to adjust the speed and power.

It also helps me fall asleep for naps.

I like the price of this unit compared to other competitors. One of my air bags on the left shoulder quit in like a week. The foot massager really does nothing except barely tickle the feet. Not sure I would buy again if I somehow did not have access to the one I already have. I would try my luck with another product.

I love this chair. Nothing like a nice massage after working out or a long day at work.

This chair came in 2 boxes. The large box contained the base of the chair, small bag with 3 large screws and the instructions. The smaller box contained the side bolsters and 6 springs.

Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you where the springs are installed. To save you a lot of time and trouble and having a chair where the air does not work; take the springs and place one inside each of the colored air tubes on the side bolsters. We discovered this after we had assembled the chair and the air was not working on one side of the chair. The air tubes were being pinched closed when the side bolsters were attached. My husband who has worked in a lot of maintenance shops determined this is why there were 6 springs in the smaller box with the bolsters. They might have been inside the air tubes when the chair was shipped and fell out during transit.

Next make sure the pins in the electrical connections are straight before you plug them into the side of the main part of the chair. Ours were bent and we did not notice when we forced them into the plugs. The chair did not work because of this. We straightened the pins out and carefully plugged them into the side of the chair at the connection just above the air tubes.

Now is a good time to make sure the chair has power. Plug in the touch screen. There is a plug on the seat cushion that attaches to the main frame. Make sure you plug those together before you plug in the chair and turn it on.

Make sure everything works before you put in the two screws in the side bolsters. We took this chair apart 3 times to get everything to work.

Sorry there are not actual pictures of the air tubes and electrical connections, but I really don’t want to take the chair apart again to take photos of the actual parts.

The final thing that will make assembling this chair easier is finding the two holes in the bolsters that the screws go into and making sure they are clearly open for ease of installing the screws. We tried to force them in through the material and they didn’t go. We cut the holes and the screws went in fairly easily.

We are very happy with this chair. I hope it continues to work for many years.

So three things to know when assembling the chair:

    1. Put the springs into the air tubes on the side bolsters.
    2. Make sure the pins are straight in the small electrical plugs on the side bolsters before you connect them to the main body of the chair.
    3. Find the holes that the 2 screws go into on the side bolsters and cut them open with a small sharp knife if they are not exposed.

Remember, Good luck. We are all counting on you!

From a price point perspective, it’s hard to beat this chair. Obviously it’s nowhere near the best in the market but for a chair ~$1,000 it is more than adequate. A couple of things I had issues is that the zero G feature doesn’t recline as much as it should compared to other chairs. The neck massage doesn’t align with my neck so it doesn’t massage it. The Bluetooth speakers are very lackluster and they should either get rid of the function or upgrade the speakers as no one will ever use it for sound.

  118. Bruce Nagy (verified owner)

The message you get is really good; specialy the neck and foot message are excellent. The chair was pretty easy to assemble but does require at least 2 to 3 people to move and assemble. The side panel hoses and plug should be about 2 inches longer to make connections easy to connect. The voice commands are simple and almost to generic.

  119. Becki (verified owner)

Love it. The only thing that we wish it had is a better neck roller. It doesn’t quite massage our necks even though we are different heights.

  120. Wade Palmer (verified owner)

Lots to like about this massage chair. It works well and can really hit my areas that need lots of work. Mostly my upper back. However, the instructions to put it together missed an important aspect of connecting the air bladder tubes. Also, those tubes have a spring in them to probably keep things from kinking. But no were did it say that. I find springs laying in the box and though something had come loose. Have two people to put it together and it gets done quickly. There are no instruction as to what the voice commands cover for the different modes that are built in. But, some playing with it and it becomes obvious. Definitely recommend

Good massage chair for its price, and I love the zero gravity mode. May not be a good fit for someone who is smaller in size, though. I’m 5’8’’ and weigh 125lbs, and find the chair to be too big for me. I use a seat cushion with the chair, which makes it better, even then I don’t feel the pressure from most of the air bags. My partner who’s taller and bigger than me loves the chair.

One tip: shoving a piece of paper between the control panel and its holder can stop it from rattling during your massage.

  122. Mike Conway (verified owner)

This chair is very sleek and has an authentic leather feel/mystique about it. Out of all the products out there, this one blows away the competition in looks. The massage is really helpful for my upper back and lower neck issues. Not sure if it because of how hard I need the massage to be, but I have to remove the cover to get in to where it counts. Not a big deal for me as I just wear a leather jacket to get the pressure just right without my skin getting pinched.

Love the anti-gravity and heat features as it is especially nice to take a load off my feet after a hard stressful day of work. The leg/ forearm air bags work ok for me, however, I am a thin 5’10” 180lbs guy so the bags barely touch my hips/upper arms. My wife is even thinner at 5’7″ so same for her accept the hip/ upper arm bags don’t nothing. I would guess thus would be the same fir any massage chair since have to try to match all different body types and there is no way to make related fearures like these adjustable. The one part that is flexible is the leg part that adjusts to your leg length.

Putting the product together is a bit tricky since you have to try to line up air hoses while someone else is lifting the sides if the chair. It is tight, but doable trying to line the sides up while also trying to plug in the hoses. Also, my air bags did not initially inflate.

When I called customer service, I called first thing when they opened and got through right away. The rep was nice and knew right away what was the problem. It ended up being a loose hose inside the main brains of the chair. It probably slipped out during shipping but it was an easy fix for me to unscrew the top cover and then plug it back in.

This is a great find and the value for the money is off the hook!

  123. Jesse S (verified owner)

Love this chair. Helps relax and works great on sore muscles. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is when I received the chair and put it together one of the shoulder air bags wasn’t working. I took it back apart and found there are springs that go inside the air tubes and one was missing. Other then that the chair is amazing.

Was looking for a massage chair for the house as we were inspired by one we use at the gym and thought it would be nice to have one at home. Easy to assemble. Works well for what we need it for. Zero-G feature is pretty nice. Heat option is also great. Took a little bit of effort to learn the different features and how to use them. One thing that would be a great improvement would be an option to have lights on the pads. Would help when you have a setup like ours when using the chair to relax. We like dim lights when using the chair so trying to adjust settings are hard to do with dim lights when you can’t see the pads/buttons. Overall a great purchase for us.

I am highly impressed with the Real Relax 2022 Massage Chair. The dual-core S track and full body massage features provide an unparalleled level of relaxation and comfort. The zero gravity recliner position is especially enjoyable, and I appreciate how the chair can be adjusted to fit my body perfectly. The black color is sleek and modern, and the overall design of the chair is very visually pleasing. I have been using this chair regularly and I can confidently say that it has helped me to reduce my stress and tension levels. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a high-quality massage chair.

    just for massage.

  127. Brittany Robinson (verified owner)

The chair is great for the price- the remote is easy to use and the assembly is easy as well. I put it together and moved it myself. My only complaint is the rollers dig a little too deep in some areas lol it’s definitely a deep tissue massage. But we use this chair daily

  128. Debby (verified owner)

Wonderful chair!! I shopped and shopped for an appropriately sized chair and I finally found it! I have had this chair for about a month, now and I’m so glad I found it!
I am 5 ft 5 inches and weigh only 110 pounds, so I am small framed, to say the least. This massage chair is rated for a much higher weight limit (somewhere around 400 lbs), but a larger framed individual simply won’t fit in it correctly. I have had several people, of differing heights and weights, try the chair. Smaller people fit in it better. My bigger friends found that it wasn’t wide enough and they felt crammed in, particularly with the shoulder airbags inflated.
Now I love the fact that you can switch on or off the parts of the chair that you choose, overriding the preset massage settings, but the presets are awfully nice too! My favorite is sleep mode.
The rollers are on tracks, therefore they move up and down the length of your back, and are not fixed, like in some chairs!! The chair massages my neck, (trigger points in) my back, low back and even my bum, very nicely! I did have to add a little bit of padding in the lumbar area, as I don’t have any natural padding of my own, and the rollers were massaging my ribs a bit more aggressivelythan I cared for. Since I’m not very big, the hip airbags don’t quite reach me, but the others feel wonderful!
After a bad day, or my fibromyalgia flares up, this chair is a wonderful relief to me!
Fantastic purchase! I do not regret it!

I did a lot of research and combed through review after review. I purchased this chair based on features and price. It does a great job of forearm and calf compression. Mediocre on hip and shoulder. Mid back massage is very good. Foot massage is fantastic! Neck massage is unimpressive but works a little. I am 5’7” and 200lbs so about average to a few extra lbs build. At this price point I would highly recommend this chair. The chair appears to be well made. I have had it a couple of weeks now and can say it is VERY relaxing.

  130. Dean (verified owner)

Product arrived direct from supplier via 2 large boxes. Set up was simple and quick. Instantly became a house favorite and we use on the second floor with very little to no noise at all on the floor below. A little snug if you’re larger than the average adult but still great value for its price. Perfect entry level massage chair for your home or office. Highly recommend this chair.

  131. Aaron D (verified owner)

This chair may not be a high end chair but for around $1000, it is a great deal. The chair is comfortable and operates as advertised. Wonderful back and foot massage. The air bags on the arms and calves are the family favorite. The neck massage can be a little intense, but turning down the intensity makes for a nice massage. Overall, I would recommend this product for those of us on a budget.

  132. Adam Bergeron (verified owner)

This is an outstanding massage chair and under the $1k threshold. I was skeptical to buy a massage chair for so little but it is well worth it. The zero G setting is great to help use your body weight to press down on the massage rollers. The legs can extend to accommodate me (6’2”) and stay up for my wife (5’5”). The digital display is easy to use and large enough to easily see what is going on. I haven’t used the Bluetooth yet but when I do I will update. It is relatively easy to move since it has wheels. Also the customer service is stellar. I would buy again from this company.

  133. Bach Le (verified owner)

Got this for my father in law who’s been having a lot of body aches. This chair is best value for the money possible. He very much enjoys it and it’s been a great asset in the house

  134. Danielle (verified owner)

This chair is amazing. It was easy to put together it took my husband about 15-20minutes. It is so relaxing with the perfect amount of pressure. I have fallen asleep (only for a few minutes of course lol) in this chair at least 4 times. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten it sooner!

  135. Richard Rich (verified owner)

This chair massage nicely and the zero gravity function is great.

  136. Andrew Goulet (verified owner)

No. It probably isn’t. But this is the best money I have ever spent. The thing literally went together in five minutes. It gives a nice strong, heated, relaxing and thorough massage. It is a bit narrow for a big guy like myself, but it hits every spot. My favorite is the foot massager. Treat yourself and buy with confidence.

  137. Marie L. (verified owner)

I have considered a massage chair for five years now but could never bring myself to spend thousands of dollars for one sight unseen in case it didn’t fit or didnt feel like it was a quality massage. I’m 5’9″ and my nine year old son is 5’0″. He enjoys deep tissue massages and I enjoy them less intense. My family loves to come and visit and take a massage. I definitely recommend this chair!

  138. Shane (verified owner)

What I liked the most was how easy it was to set up and get going…I do wish the screen on the controller was brighter to see the functions.

  139. w (verified owner)

My entire family loves this chair. It is very comfortable and hits every area that you would want. Sometimes it is hitting areas too hard but you can easily adjust the force that is used. The air pressure is one of my favorite features. It squeezes just tight enough around your legs, arms, thighs. LOVE that. My husband is very tall and he even fits in this chair just fine and loves it. It’s fought over during family functions. This chair lays back far and is a great for a nap while being massaged. We will stick with this chair forever. The price is great and it is a great selection for massage chairs. The only complaint is that the controls are not easy to figure out. It’s easy to start and get going and select the massage you want, but there are times I do not want my neck or back massaged. It’s very hard to figure out which buttons to press to get it to completely stop specific areas. Would be so nice if it said Back On/Off, but it doesn’t.

Bought this massage chair for my mom as a birthday gift couple months ago. She has been using it for a while now, she’s quite satisfied with this massage chair. She used the massage chair everyday before she goes to bed and she said doing this make her fall in sleep quicker. So, I guess this could be very good gift choice for your loved one.

  141. latrica huffin (verified owner)

I brought for my husband’s xmChristmas gift despite being hesitant it would be too small. We are full size ppl. It was a hit, it could have been a little wider but he has no issues using it. We’ve had for 4mos now and still works as good as the first day. Great buy for the price.

  142. Rahrig’s (verified owner)

I purchased this product after doing some research and everything I read was saying it’s the best chair you can buy for $1000 or less. I agree, the chair does a nice job, there are minor adjustments I would recommend on the next model (a way to massage between the shoulder blades, etc) but you definitely get your money’s worth out of this chair! If you’re looking for a budget massage chair and want the best bang for your buck, I would highly recommend this chair.

  143. Mrs. R. B. (verified owner)

I bought this chair for my husband. He really uses his chair to relax and message his muscles after a hard day in construction. I sometimes even find him sleep in the chair while he calls himself watching television.

When I first got the chair I had an issue with one side not properly matching up with the main body to bolt it together. The service dept was awesome and shipped out a replacement part to me expeditiously. I was able to complete assembly and try it out. Works great!
Update. I’ve been using this chair almost daily and it’s holding up well. Great bargain!

  151. divermike (verified owner)

To start, I must say I am definitely happy with this purchase. I have severe back problems from the army and this is perfect! The rollers are strong and get all the right spots, to include far down on the lower back where most chairs stop short. The foot rollers are a great added benefit. The zero gravity feature Really makes all the difference in adding the right amount of pressure all around and relaxing you in the process. If I had to give one area for improvement it would be in the airbags, they don’t really seem add as much pressure as I would like leaving my upper shoulders feeling untouched but with all the other positives this is really just nit picking at that point. Hope this helps in your decision and enjoy your future chair.

My wife and I have used this product almost every day since we bought it last Christmas. We absolutely love it and she hasn’t had to go to the chiropractor since.

  153. Bob smith (verified owner)

We have really enjoyed the massage chair. It was relatively easy to put together – with limited steps. When putting it together we watched a fellow purchasers video on assembling the chair and it was very helpful. We dont use it daily, but overall it probably gets utilized 3-4 times a week on average & still works great after almost a year of use.

  154. Sarah (verified owner)

My family purchased this massage chair in December of 2022 and we absolutely love it! We have used it almost every day since putting it together (its now July 2023) and it works and functions just perfectly! We love being able to customize our massage with the different programs and turn on and off certain functions. In addition, we like the ability to adjust the legs, since we are all different heights. Overall, this was a wonderful purchase and we would definitely recommend to others to buy this massage chair!

  155. benjamin j. (verified owner)

This product is great for the lower back, and the other areas are also good. It was fairly easy to assemble, and the size of the boxes get through a standard doorway fine. I have had a Human Touch massage chair for nearly 30 years, and this chair is a real improvement because of the total body massage options available. I am very pleased with the purchase experience and product.

  156. Sheryl James (verified owner)

This is the best massage chair! I had another one before and it’s no comparison to this one! The chair is comfortable, love the different massages and feel great after laying in it! Awesome product! Keep up the good work!!!

  157. DJnWM (verified owner)

Positives: When I first got my chair, I wasn’t sure if putting it together would be hard. I got two boxes and in 10 minutes I had it working. It has many modes or you can create your own. Bluetooth works great, it fits my 5’8” body just fine. Love the zero gravity and the warmer.
Negative: it really doesn’t massage the neck area very well.

I am not used to do reviews of the product I buy,but this time after having used my Real Relax Chair for almost two years, I can say that for its price it is more than a massage chair. Very well constructed. Nice uphosltery, Very confortable. When I use it, I turn on my bluetooth select a a nice meditation music and enjoy my massge. It has helped me lot to relax and feel great relief in my back mainly in the lower back.Believe it is a great massage chair. I don’t usually write reviews unless I hate something. My writing no review seems as logical as looking like a bot saying AWESOME–EXCELLENT–ALRIGHT— ETC.

When I write a review for a product I like, I REALLY like it, but that’s me, might not be you. So for those of you who don’t like long reviews just buy the chair, it’s worth it.

Pros: It assembles easily. My 12 year old and I did it in 15 minutes. Assembling it also shows you the failure points, and they are all going to be with the air inflate system. If your chair loses power to one of the sides, your pump hose is disconnected. Remove the side and plug it in correctly like you should have done in the first place. RTFM (you might need to look this acronym up). If you had to look it up that was your FIRST problem. Plug it back in.

It’s very quiet. You can get a full massage and someone can be watching TV at normal volumes and not “Grandpa Joe” volumes. No worries here.

The price is stupid cheap for what it does. The ones in the mall and at the airport are beat to hell and smell like armpit and disappointment, yet people still plug in 10 bucks to get their massage.

The foot function is why I’m writing this. It literally saved my life. About 9 months ago I was diagnosed with planter fasciitis. For the nonmedical, it’s your feet hurting so bad you have trouble walking. usually associated with tight tendons, swollen tendons, heel spurs etc etc. It’s just bad all day long. Cortisone shots in the feet every 3 months and Meloxicam daily just to function. Lengthy PT and many, many trips to the podiatrist. Most never fully recover at my age (North of 50). We just get used to the discomfort, and it becomes another part of our day to day.

I started using the chair after a career of lifting obese people off the floors of their bathrooms and recovering them from under their cars or various other inconvenient places. My back has been bad for years, but when my feet started complaining too, I had to do something, or I was going to be done.

Things are not perfect, but I have only had the chair a few months and I only use it twice a week. The 3rd or fourth time I used it, I turned the foot function to MAX and pressed down hard with my feet against the rollers. It was VERY uncomfortable, but it felt like the tissue in my feet was being separated, and I actually felt a few crunches. That worried me, so I powered off the chair and got out. I stood up so quickly, I didn’t even notice that my left foot didn’t hurt AT ALL. The rest of the day… NO PAIN. There are plenty of theories on why this happened, as a medic I try to think of them all. At the end of the day I simply don’t care though. I have gone from shots and medication to my chair twice a week, and my feet are slowly recovering from a lifetime of abuse. I still follow the direction of my podiatrist, but I also use my chair, if those rollers are breaking up those spurs so my body can reabsorb, all the better. Furthermore, I can see the end of that recovery road, and that’s all that matters. Incidentally, the chair costs about the same as 2 injections.

CONS: I’m 5′ 10 and, well…. well I’m fat. NOT morbidly obese or anything, but guys that have 6 packs have nothing on this Dad with a kegger in front. This will NOT massage your back from your scapula to the base of your neck. Some more words you might have to look there…. No, I wont be a jerk… your “Shoulder baldes”. Probably due to liability issues, but that 4-5″ area gets 0 attention.

It will work your lower and middle back until you want to cry (if you turn it up all the way) and it will pinch your neck like your old aunt Myrtle when you did something wrong. However, you complete miss scapula to base of neck.

You need to understand at least the basics of body mechanics to get the most out of this chair. It will work fine as a rube, but if you understand what needs to be massaged and HOW it needs to be massaged, you’ll get the same functionality as a chair at 5x the cost.

Do it, just but it and thank me later. No, no one paid me to write this, but I saved a TON on money buying this chair and taking care of myself.

Love this chair. It will definitely keep you feeling young. My lower back always hurts, this chair really takes works out the kinks. Best investment in a long time

  161. Macman (verified owner)

At first I wasn’t impressed, since the air features didn’t work. However, support responded to my complaint email within minutes and told be how to reconnect the air hose that had come off during shipping (FedEx destroyed the box during shipping, so I’m very glad that the air hose was the only problem). The chair’s many options and features keep the whole family satisfied, but don’t buy it for the Bluetooth speakers. As other reviewers have noted, they’re worthless. The chair still gets 5 stars, though!

  162. Cynthia Wlliamson (verified owner)

Assembly of the side panels was a little difficult when trying to screw in the attachment bolts. One of the back rollers is not engaging and gave me a Fix It error. The heat does not appear to work either. I will contact the company to try to remedy these two issues

  166. Rhonda (verified owner)

I’m 6’5 and I can tell the legs are a bit short by 2-3 inches. There is a gap under the back of my knees because the foot rest will not go down lower. But, I am used to things being to short for me. I have to use a 1 foot thick pillow under the head in zero position, because I feel my head is upside down. The best feature is the heat for the back and may be the feet. I like the A3 setting. You can tell it to focus on one area of the body like legs or torso, but never seen the use for it. I want it all over my body and now.

Wish it was able to operate longer than 30 mins. It often gets me a good nap in 15mins, but then it stops. Wish it had the shiatsu massage where it would pound on the back. What this does is kneading only. It is far too strong for me, so I line the back with a blanket. You can adjust the strength, but I prefer a stronger message. It’s just the kneading is like knuckles to the back rather than an open palm. The blanket makes it feel like open palms going in circles rather than a knuckle.

I use it about 2-3 time a week for nearly two years straight and it is still preforming well. There was a sudden “give way’ feeling in the hip area where it sounds like it pops out-of-place due to a high degree of pressure against my body. It gave out before I did 🙂 But it still performs like it should two years later. I expect to get another two years out of it. Then I’ll get an upgrade that has the shiatsu massage and heat package. If I have the money, I went with this as the other reviews said–you get a lot of quality for a lower price. This was the only one I could find the did all I wanted and was the largest I seen for my body frame. I would recommend if you want a good chair for low money compared to the higher end ones.

I liked everything about the chair when I bought it and it was working great. Until it broke within 6 months of buying it and I have been contacting customer service and even sent photos of broken part on 10/26/23 and they said they would send a new part.I waited awhile for new part and contacted them to find out why the new part didn’t arrive. They contacted me and said they recognized the problem and would send me a new part. I finally received the new part on 11/30/23 and chair is working great. They said they would do more training for new employees to prevent this from happening again.

I am 5-9. Very average shoulders. I don’t know what some of the complaints are about the airbags. They are very strong and hold you in so the complex rollers can really get you good. It was VERY easy to assemble. It took me about 5 minutes. The bluetooth worked. The app worked. The display screen worked. It doesn’t look cheap at all. Felt very sturdy. I am using it as a recliner as well in the living room. The nice thing about the foot rest is your knees are still bent so over time your quads will not loose flexibility if you are reclined all the time. You can just put your legs on top of the foot rest if you want to get the same position of a recliner. The whole thing is also very quiet. I assumed the sides were plastic but they are leather which looks even better. A+++

This chair was easy enough to put together, the build quality seems sturdy enough that I wouldn’t worry about it failing while you are in it leaning back. The Bluetooth speaker is fine although I don’t use it very often because I don’t want my family to be bothered. The chair seems to work well for multiple heights as my mother enjoys using it and is around 5’2 while I am 5’11 and can use it comfortably myself.
The neck part of the massage is a bit lacking in my experience I feel like no matter how I sit it doesn’t hit the right spot. I enjoy the compression aspect the most.

After about two months I wonder how I got along without this chair. It is quiet, tireless, and offers many options for people with different preferences. It has six automatic programs, plus many adjustments you can make with a few button pushes to customize your experience. Zero gravity, for example, rocks you back almost prone which results in even firmer interaction with the back rollers. I definitely recommend this chair.
