Need calf rollers & foot rollers can be better
Also if rollers can hit next to neck that would have been 100%
I’ve only had the chair for a couple of weeks, but I get in it daily. I have frequent lower back pain and it has eased the tension and the pain very well.
Excited to find out about its longevity, but the functionality is outstanding.
They finally reached out and sent the correct part. Now it works well. ****
I have filled out their online product support page, I have emailed them, I have called them and I am currently on hold for the 4th call. Still no actual response other than, "We will contact you soon." My item arrived on June 14th without the parts to attach the foot piece and I have reached out daily since then. Today is June 28th. I am fed up and feel the only option is to return the item!! This is my 3rd RealRelax purchase and the chairs are great but the service is awful!!!
I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a massage chair. You will not regret it. It truly is so relaxing.
Pros: The PS6500 is almost completely assembled out of the box. The footrest is the only thing that needs to be attached, along with two multi-pin electrical connectors, and a pneumatic line. It is very easy to do even if you are only slightly mechanically inclined. The touchscreen only needs to be snapped into its cradle, and the A.I. Care sensor needs to be placed in its bracket. Those items are already hard-wired. There are some zippers that need to be zipped up on the seat, and then you are up and running.
The chair has many different programs and the leg extension is spring loaded to conform to your height. The heat doesn’t get too hot, but I’m sure that will keep the seat materials from prematurely breaking down over time. There are pneumatics for the arm, shoulder, and leg massage. The foot rollers feel good. The Shiatzu Massage is pretty intense and the track takes it from your neck to the lower glutes. The chair senses you height, but you can make manual adjustments if needed. There are 25 ambient white noise sounds that are selectable to play while you are massaged. It has a wireless charging cradle above the left armrest. There are adjustments to increase air intensity, speed, and strength. Overall, I found the massage capabilities to be very relaxing. It has so many programs that it will probably take weeks to get through them all.
Cons: The Bluetooth is a little wonky. When I first tried to connect per the user manual instructions, it said an app was needed when I tried to select it from the dropdown list on my phone. The user manual states that it should ask for the four digit password code provided to pair. I shut it down overnight, tried it again the next day, and this time it worked as described in the user manual. I did try downloading the app, but it is not connecting. I emailed Real Relax and they are working on an app fix. I don't think you really need an app though. When you are in the chair all of the controls are right there in front of you, including voice command.
This puts my husband and I to sleep more often than not! SUCH a relaxing experience. Love the foot rollers and the legs adjust to my short self. One con is that it rarely locates my shoulders properly in the body sync and the manual adjustment period is too short to always get it right. In that case, I have to start all over again which is an unnecessary hassle. Also, I wish the heated seat worked a little better. Hard to tell it's on.
UPDATE:
So I was contacted by one of the team leaders for this company about a week after and he sincerely tried to assist and attempted service recovery. He was very apologetic for the delay in response by their customer service team and took ownership as the manager for the issues. That was much appreciated after the fact, and gave me some sense of appeasement. Would consider trying one of their products in the future as they truly seem to care about service recovery and customer satisfaction.
I paid for installation but didn't need it because it is very simple to the point i could have put it together when i was 6 years old. So no need to pay 90$ for installation. Settings are simple i just wished it was real leather all around being the price and doesn't seem to get the upper shoulders as well as i'd like. Other than that seems like a good buy so far.
